With a bit of pushing on the stonier or uphill sections of the track I could have cycled from Kylestrome to Glendhu but I had the dog with me so I walked. Round the head of the loch, over the bridge and angled up to the obvious gully. No need for scrambling or climbing but the rocks were slimy so I was glad to top out into the sun. Rather than return by the dank gully we came off to the west and it took a couple of bits of trial and error to find a line down (just south of the prow) though the slope east of the Allt na Cathrach Duibhe would have been easier. Path isn't in the best of nick being very wet but it's still a fantastic walk as is the coastal track from Kylestrome. Superb views of Silvan, Quinag, out over the sea lochs, Arkle and Foinavon. Magnificent. | StueyB | 23/10/2023 |

Climbed from high point of path between Glendhu and Glencoul Bothies (NC261325). Several tops but the highest is obvious. | Chris Peart | 20/11/2012 |
