Cycled up Kinloch Glen then left bikes at Malcoms Bridge. We walked down to Harris to visit the mausoleum. On way back we cut up onto Ard Mheall and followed the ridge to the summit. Ran out of time to climb Orval so descended from coll back to the bikes.KevPalmer28/06/2017
From bunkhouse via track to Harris to high point, then steep grassy ridge to summit. Onto Orval afterwardsN.Morters18/06/2017
On Kinloch- Orval(qv for route)- Ard Nev- Kinloch walk. Just one bit of broken ground with wide grassy rakes between the two hills, otherwise ver easy terrain. I thought it well worth going down the S ridge for half a mile to join the Harris road. The view over Atlantic Corrie from the road summit, to Askival, is in my opinion one of the finest views of a mountain from valley level anywhere in Scotland. I had a chat with some deer researchers later and learned that taking this line I fortuitously avoided getting very close to a calving hind.pwheeler03/06/2017
