|Parked on the verge to the NW and started up a muddy farm track. Very boggy and cow trodden, going onto the hillside. Not a pleasant walk at this time of year, and probably busy with cows in the summer!||LizH||13/03/2020|
|First summit of the day on long walk from Rothesay to Kilchattan Bay. Ascent straightforward via Loch Fad causeway, waterworks access track and then path to summit.||benalder284||09/09/2018|
|Rothesay-Common Hill-Hill of Ascog-Birgidale Hill-Quien Hill-Barmore Hill-Kerryfearn Hill-Blackpark Hill-Barone Hill. Above something of an inversion on top: could just make out the highest Arran peaks. My shadow gained something of a halo for a short while.
Descended north of NW into mist but then found an impenetrable gorse barrier close to the road and had to go east almost to Achamore Wood to get through before heading WNW to reach the road.||campagvelocet||25/09/2017|
|Start of a round of 4 hills, parking at NS 0651 6343, room for 1 car without blocking field access. Farm track initially then over the rough. On to Blackpark Hill next.||jonglew||29/08/2017|
|Walked in via track to the north then through a 3 horse field, taking a longer route to avoid the gorse.||Dugswell2||28/11/2016|

|2nd hill of day from Rothesay to Loch Fad road, then up through felled forestry to treatment works and on to summit which looks good if you ignore the felling. Approx 80 mins round trip||Thearlaichdubh||15/08/2014|
|Bagged in absolutely perfect weather conditions.||Alex C||24/04/2014|
|Bike run around Bute witha few hills thrown in.||ARM||23/07/2011|
|One of the nicest hills in Bute. Cycled up to near Loch Dhu and followed a path to the summit. Lots of heather and bare rock, a taste of Northern Highlands. Good views and varied walk.||Kevin29035||04/07/2011|
