Circular walk on tracks and ridges from Cormuir. | Winterfloodian | 02/09/2023 |
From large parking spot near bridge at NO 29380 67905 walked down the road to Cormuir. Then up track to Hill of Ardenaich. Intermittent track/path across to Corwharn. Debate about which tussock was the actual summit. Heather and bits of path down north west shoulder to track. Then took in Hill of Strone before descending directly down rough hillside (there is a path but some members of our group decided to forsake it for the steep rough heather) back to cars. | Fife Walking | 23/07/2023 |
Descended Tarapetmile by the fence then followed track up to Cairn Corse (581m). Followed fence to Corwharn. Down to Easter Lednathie via Hill of Adenaich & Finlet. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 07/07/2023 |
Circuit of Corwharn and nearby tops from parking by reservoir at NO260598. Creigh Hill South Top, then Creigh Hill. Continued to N, descending to beallach W of Craig of Balloch. Climbed Milldewan Hill and then along easy undulating ridge to Corwharn. Continued to Eskielawn and Bruntshields, Black Binks and a short steep ascent to Cuilt Hill. Descended to track and road back to start. Mist and rain for much of route. | RobertP | 18/03/2023 |

Anticlockwise circular walk from now-deserted Cormuir (checked with passing farmer, OK to park away from farm shed doors). Track / vague ATV track all the way. Met two deer shooters on hill, but they did not think it was us that spooked the herd. Back by Hill of Adenaich. | willyross | 03/02/2023 |

From Backwater res, after Eskilawn. | BLACKHILL | 23/06/2021 |
From 2nd P place on E side of Backwater Reservoir, up through Clintlaw Corrie, then along the new deer fence Milldewan Hill - Cairn Corse - Corwharn (good track on E side of fence, but two 'gates' have to be climbed), descended SW to forest edge at NO281641, then steeply down edge of clearing and a green ride to forest road that leads all the way back to <1km N of P place | kdbennett | 13/06/2021 |
I had a part day to spare so just for a change from all the rest below went up from the Blackwater Reservoir from the SW. A nice route which I recommend for a short day. No path but an obvious line from gate to follow the forest edge on easy grass then straight along ridge with mix of little used estate tracks and easy pathless sections. Back the same way. I pulled off road on grass to park (just enough width for that) but there is a good car park less than half a mile along the road. | dickscroop | 15/07/2020 |
hill of strone, bruntshields, eskielawn, corwharn repeat, hill of adenaich from parking at track entrance 350m north of cormuir farm. | robertphillips | 14/12/2019 |
Who can resist a circular walk over 3 Marilyns? Parked at the end of Westerton track, up the road to Balintore castle track, then grassy track straight uphill past the quarry, becoming a path, then joined main track up Cat Law. Followed the fence down, then track to Cormaud. Track fades so traversed down to col, and track to Corwharn. Good enough tracks to Milldewan Hill; followed fence (track) then grassy sheep tracks down to col. Up deer tracks and vague tracks to Creigh Hill. On to Cairn Plew and down to Middle Coul, and road back. | Gill | 13/04/2019 |

I thought this was a Graham when I climbed it, after I'd done Cat Law. | IanHHill | 01/09/2016 |
With Dave Roeder. From Glen Prosen Hostel (9:50) to Corwharn (12:15). Down fairly direct to col and along ridge to Cat Law (15:00). Soft snow, often waist deep on paths slowed progress. Nearly trod on a hare. Down to W Lednathie & back to hostel (17:30). Overcast & windy but clear. | dbb | 29/04/2016 |
From Glen Prosen, Cormuir Farm to north east. Track now is excellent all way to col, easy walking, then follow fence line over featureless heather and knolls on good trails. Disappointing summit, was the cairn removed when Graham status was withdrawn? | nordicstar | 24/01/2016 |
From Cormuir. Track all ok. Followed the fence from the bealach in the mist and rain. | jenx | 24/01/2016 |

A lonely Graham, done in the face of deteriorating weather. Solo | thenomad | 28/01/2013 |
From Cormuir. Heavy heavy rain. Track badly churned by caterpillar traction, therefore left it soon and cut uphill. Went over to Hill of Strone and then ambled straight down in the dark and wetness. Is this the right hobby for November? | Martin R | 22/11/2012 |
Was a Graham when done on same walk as 2nd ascent of Cat Law. | duchally | 26/02/2012 |
