A four-topper from the CP next to Darowen church. First the ROW and field climb to Fron Goch. Down To Nantygaseg Farm and the road below, turned left and then picked up a zig-zag path through the bracken from opposite Cegir to the Glyndwr's Way just SW of Cern Goch. Quick detour to the summit and along ridge fence track E to pick up GW again. ROWs back to Darowen then continued to Ffridd Pen-y-Graig and over sheep fields and fences to Bryn-Einon. Track and minor road return.summitter29/08/2023
Parked opposite the church in Darowen and followed Gerrybowes route to the top. Good views.PeterAH04/03/2022
As Man of Kernow. From parking area opposite church at SH 8302 0178, E. up lane for about 200m to fingerpost - Over stile & up RoW across 4 fields. After crossing stile into 5th field, made way up to a short section of low wire fencing without barbed wire at SH 83954 01985 - Straddled fence, east through gateway in wall & then SE to a final gate - Over gate & then about 100m to summit rib of rock. After dining upon mince pies and bananas with peanut butter in the car at Darowen. Light rain stopped. Easy stroll; mist rolling in as we reached the summit. Last hill of 2019.Wycombe Wanderer31/12/2019
Extension of Abercegir- Cefn Coch- Darowen- Fron Goch- Nantygaseg- Abercegir day walk, to bag Ffridd Pen-y-Graig, with Pete. We used marktrengove’s route- key is to keep to the ROW a bit further than one might expect, to SH 8423 0222 where gate gives barbed wire-free access. Returned to Darowen same way. Good parking space at Darowen, though it’s main purpose must be for church services.pwheeler17/09/2018

Parked in Darowen, opposite the church, at SH 83027 01783. Took the lane east for several hundred metres, then stile over hedge at footpath sign. Followed the RoW north-east through sheep pastures, diverting south-east to reach the summit. No barbed wire by this route. Returned by my outward route. Walk continued to Fron Goch.
