Domed sheep pasture. Rock out crop and tractor counterweight at top. Blustery dry day with good views. From Ysgwd-Ffordd and onto Fron. Muddy.Denise 06/04/2024
From Ysgwd-Fford on wet and muddy tracks. Outcropping rock in improved pasture at summit. Rock is only just higher than the gentle domed rise of pasture to the N . Chased off summit by a vicious squall of rain.RichardM06/04/2024
From RoW to NNW. No fences.Alan Moore16/10/2023
Easy verge parking on bend to NE, 20m or so S. of turning for bridge at SO 10014 7099 - Over bridge & along farm tracks to Bron-yr-efail & had a chat with with friendly young farmer - Continued on RoW to gate at SO 0886 7088. Field ahead had a crop of mangel beet ready for harvesting, so made way around top side of field to a gate at SO 0872 7067 - Over gate, across sheep pasture to another gate & then a steady climb up to to the summit. From the hall car park in Llanddewi via Llanddewi bridge, Beddugre and along the ridge.Jim.Fothergill23/08/2019
Parked on main road to NE near bridge. Crossed bridge, up track to Bron-yr-efail, then ROW is used as farm track and has gates all the way, with a gate also to access the summit. All on improved pasture. With Pete, we came back same way as paths are not always so straightforward in mid-Wales. We too had a great chat with the farmer (84 and proud of his age) on the way back.pwheeler29/04/2017

Parked on main road to NE near bridge. Crossed bridge up track to Bron-yr-efail to use good track most of way with odd gate to climb. I had a great chat with the old farmer on the way back.Dugswell222/08/2014

Parked near end of lane off A483 - SO 09808 68808. There's plenty of parking possibilities along this lane. Took marshy byway W from where lane ends, then RoW N towards Croftyperthy (also very boggy). Then over barbed wire fence and horse field to open hill beyond another barbed wire fence. Then track to near summit. Ascent route not recommended! To descend, walked ridge east (some barbed wire) to pick up RoW over Pt.371m and down to Beddugre Farm. A much better route. With MP on a misty day.Man of Kernow106/03/2013
From main road to NE. Frisky cows occupying the summit so had to play games to capture the summit.clivevilla08/12/2012
Easy parking off main road to NE. Track and then easy grass.destaylor04/05/2012
Parked just off A483 at SO104684 and followed road / bridle path around the base of the hill before cutting across to the track leading up the hill. lots of sheep :-)heavyhorses25/03/2012
Traversed the summit NW to E between the RsOW, roughly along the ridge line, using gates between the fields.Smudge10/02/2012
Parked in front of a bungalow with permission. Along the road, over a small stream, uphill on tarred road and around to NE. Way to the hill indicated by a farmer following a bridal path, over a fence on beast made paths to cross a BWF onto sheep pastures and top at 14.35. No cairnarranc27/09/2011
Started at entrance gate to Croftyperthi carrying the wrong map! Lots of trespassing. Sneak up, brazen down.Martin R07/08/2011
Bit of a tricky one this. Started from the farm to the n.w.When you get to the farm turn left and then right through a gate.follow the footpath to where it levels out and fence hop to follow the fence to near the top.DARRENG27/06/2011
