From Whitesands CP (£6 to park all day). Wales coast path then up to Summit. Bit of Rock climbing involved, but fairly easy.M6KIO27/05/2023
From the Whitesands Bay CP. Extreme winds allowed us to make a generous interpretation of our success.Newton Maximus05/01/2023
From lay-by near golf course car park, diwn hill tben up on RoW. Bit of a scramble at end so descended easier route to N, but then ended up pathless in gorse.JK15/09/2022
A family walk from Whitesands Bay car park (£5), NW along the excellent & often narrow clifftop path to 729278 - Turned right up path past Carn Hen & then SE to junction at 736277 - Turned left up path past foundations of a WWII radar station & then up W. ridge, including a Grade 1 scramble, to summit rock. Bypassing scramble, returned to junction at 376277 & a quick descent on RoW through holiday lets in Upper Porthmawr. Final Welsh Hump.gerrybowes05/07/2022
To the summit with Sky, we enjoyed fantastic 360 degree views trying to pick out any as yet unclimbed hills in unexpectedly warm sunshine a few days before the official start of winter.AdSonic7418/12/2021
Evening ascent from Whitesands Bay car park.PGCE18/07/2021
10.4 mile circular from Whitesands car park, followed B4583 and then country lanes east to Treleidr farm then headed north towards Penberry, eventually finding the permissive path marked on the map up to the summit, from here followed coast path spotting several seals on the beaches below, then followed footpath onto Carn Perfedd, the summit can be a bit painful to get to because of the gorse but not too bad, then followed seldom-used paths back to the cliffs then back on the coast path to Carn Porth-Llong then around St David's Head towards Carn Llidi, good paths to old WW2 radar station then up to summit which requires a bit of a scramble to stand on top, followed path back to Whitesands. A few people around despite the very cloudy/sometimes showery conditions. Earlier that day bagged Garn Fawr.DanTrig07/09/2020

Walk up at the start of Wales Coast Path section from Whitesands to Trefin. Excellent views and a pair of terrific Neolithic tombs on the western slopes.thesweetcheat08/08/2014
Continuation of walk from Carn Porth-llong. Descended south-east to stream, then rising path up west flank of Carn Llidi. At its highest point a concreted path leads up onto Carn Hen. The path then goes east to summit tower. To reach the summit is a short easy scramble, with good hand- and foot-holds, on gabbro. To descend, followed ascent route down to main path to lane, then west down B4583 to car park.Man of Kernow131/07/2014
