From the CP at the top of Peak Hill. | Newton Maximus | 28/10/2023 |
Parked near newish houses in Woolbrook near bottom of Greenway Lane, which then proceeded to climb past house and into woods on FP. Followed steps upwards to mast then round to HP just off track. | PeterD | 04/03/2023 |
Reversed into a gap on Greenway Lane at 10953 89599 and followed Gerrybowes directions. | clivevilla | 17/10/2021 |
Parked in a bit of a pull-in on Woolbrook Road between the Greenway Lane junction & the A3052 at SY 1144 8777 - Up to the top of Greenway Lane & then up RoW which passes to the side of a large modern house - Followed RoW up 2 separate sets of steps & past mast to the summit GR; this lies about 20m to the right of the track in an area where trees have been thinned out so easily accessed. Across Golf Course to Muttersmoor from Bickwell Valley to make ascent from the south. | matthewdomhof | 05/06/2020 |
Parked South in Mutter's Moor car park. Walked along the SWCP taking in High Peak & Home Down returning inland Via Otterton to Bulverton Hill. Bulverton Hill from south very muddy vehicle tracks further into the wood. There seems to have been lots of logging activity here recently. Footpaths totally churned up. | fosal29 | 02/02/2020 |
Up the old lane, parking in the NE access off A road is not ideal, especially with a camper! Good morning otherwise with nice stepped ascent to aerial with Jenx and Bryher | nordicstar | 16/05/2018 |
Parked just off B3176 - steep climb to the top, some nice views but mostly forested. | twg27 | 06/05/2018 |
Almost a level track to the top from the C.P. | Play2End | 13/09/2017 |
Parked at start of Dulverton Back Lane, just off A3052 at SY 10076 89509. Tracks all the way to the summit area. Nice views to west on the way. | PGCE | 26/03/2017 |
As per others parked at top of Greenway Lane. Lots of gates that need to be left clear, leaving barely room for one car on bumpy verge next to hedge. Nearly grounded when parking. Easy pleasant final ascent. | ijpowell | 29/07/2016 |
Parked on edge of new housing estate and followed Greenway Lane up. | rhalstead | 17/01/2016 |
As others, parked on Greenway Lane | Poolton123 | 15/11/2015 |
2/6 Followed tracks to summit behind mast flatish but dense forest there hard to determine exact summit | Fergalh | 08/07/2015 |
From Greenaway Lane. After leaving the track took a direct route through the trees, sometimes following badger paths. Chose an old tree stump to the right of the track to represent the top. | Herbert Anchovy | 04/03/2015 |
My first legitimate summit. The previous being retrospective. rather than climb up from the Bowd. I walked from Peak Hill. Mutters Moor and past Keble's Seat there is a point on the track way where there are some old boundary banks this is possibly as close to a summit high point as one can get. A fantastic clear afternoon and early evening sun set. | Anthony Vosper | 18/01/2015 |
Parked at end of Greenway Lane, followed clear woodland paths most of the way, then headed off piste into woodland for final 100m to find summit point. ***24 Feb 2018 re-ascent: Re-visit with Carole Engel. | jonglew | 17/11/2014 |
As chrisbien. | Chris Peart | 01/07/2014 |
With L. stop off on way from Axminster ( Olllie & Anne's new home location) to St Ives to a holiday cottage with her parents and Neil and family for
 5 days. | Chris Pearson | 09/06/2013 |
I parked in a layby on the eastbound side of the A3052 at SY 104 897 before walking west on the grass verge. I tacked the hill by going clockwise along the track then up the paths, past the modern house, and finally down the other side. Tricky to decide the highest point but could be an earth embankment at SY 10631 89361 which I got as 215m. | Father Ted | 09/09/2012 |
P at 4 Elms. Track all the way to the top which is very flat. | chrisbien | 23/05/2012 |
From track to NNW then followed badger tracks into and across field into wood uphill to path junction then top between the paths. | Dugswell2 | 18/03/2012 |
Think the summit is somewhere to the west of the main path across the top.You can park on bend in main road to the west. | DARRENG | 20/05/2011 |
On the way between Exeter and Salcombe Regis. Left bike at eastern foot of hill. Lovely woodland. | fasgadh | 18/04/2011 |
Parked at right angle bend on main road. Followed track then paths. Summit is somewhere between 2 good paths. Dense trees make it impossible to find the exact summit. | destaylor | 10/12/2010 |
