Parked in Armory's Hill Way, back to Dale Hill Road. Turn right for a few yards and there is a track which goes along the ridge deviating to go around a house. It enters a field and hp is in the next field a short distance from the edge.clivevilla09/11/2023
From the SSE. Easy parking in Amorys Holt Way (SK 5191 9265) which lies 40m or so E. of start of track & then bridleway - A pleasant walk along along track which is bordered by an attractive area of woodland; popular with Maltby residents, especially dog walkers - Short distance over cereal crop to trig point & summit; crop still short enough to place feet between rows.gerrybowes06/04/2023
parked at Foredoles farm and along bridlepath to trig and summitgrumpy18/01/2023

Easy parking along Addison Road in Maltby to the SE of the unmade up road. Road appears to stop at a house but, in fact, veers to the left around it. Straightforward walk to the trig, about 15 minutes return.moorsman26/09/2017
From car on Lilly Hall Road to south in case parking at the farm was a problem. I was expecting to see the trig at the other side of the path for some reason, but having checked again it's definitely still where it should be!the_adam03/12/2016

1st of three hills with Lexi Rue, my partner's Labradoodle on an 18+ mile walk from Conisbrough station to Rotherham. After briefly visiting Conisbrough castle to buy some nice Plum wine we headed on tracks and lanes to Clifton (past an Alpaca sanctuary) using a footpath to head for a transmission tower. Glorious day. We veered off on a bearing to take in the indistinct summit before visiting the trig but i first checked that the land about 300m away wasnt higher (where the crop changes there is a slight dip before reaching a broad track) but it was 1m lower. We carried on en-route to Beacon hill.Dazingdale21/04/2016
Parked on Lilly hall road. Nice 10 minute walk to the trig and then a few metres more to the highest point. Got back to car with very muddy boots.SEMC16/04/2016

Parked on verge at start of Foredoles Lane by farm. Wide enough not to block lane. No one came out of farm or adjacent bungalow to complain. Pleasant walk along lane to trig, which is in a field with no fence. Trig in arable field, but tractor track meant didn't damage the crops.Hillsidenick31/05/2014
Parked on verge on road to the north. Walk down lane past farm. No sign to show where boundary crosses the field south of column.arranc21/04/2014

Parked at Foredoles farm, walked along lane. TP out in field but crop only just growing, runnels to walk along. Highest point appears to be slight brow just E of TP. Back to car in brief but torrential hail shower.Aye Jimmy13/05/2013
Reasonable views from here - not exactly sure of the high point, so went to all likely points, just to make sure.madaddo30/04/2013
