Small detour from NDW. Done straight after Betsomís Hilllerritt27/07/2019
Bagged at same time as Betsom's Hill with another couple of hundred meters of dodging traffic.jedthehumanoid05/07/2019
Final London Borough Top. 246 bus stops pretty much at the summit.Mark Jackson02/03/2019
Betsom's Hill and Westerham Heights by No 246 bus (Bromley South or Hayes to Westerham service, every half hour). 'William Hall Coachworks' stop is ideally situated between the two summits.PGCE07/02/2019
On own. On verge of dangerous main road. Bagged on the way to Betsomís Hill. Not one for a picnic stop!Beeliner05/07/2018
Walked along dangerously busy road from Betsoms Hill Farm and crossed road near bend.Campbell Singer19/04/2018
Cycling to the highest points in London Boroughs and eating a bun at the top of each. #3 Bromley Border of Kent and London. Had the bun in Shampan car park.Maggot20/08/2017
Done with Betsom Hill, walk along busy road to verge on east.PeterD05/06/2017
County top outing, boring but got to be done I parked cheekily in the entrance to the gas works and then walked the 10 seconds back to the turning with the sign for Westerham Heights farm the high point is opposite on the other side of the road, but really who caresWAYNE ROWLETT13/11/2016

Along road from Betsom's Hill. Definitely more dangerous than the Inn Pin.ngthack12/12/2015
Parked up and did at same time as Betson's HillRussellab22/11/2015
Drove over this one in car. No views to speak of.fnem08/09/2015
This was done after a quick geocaching trip around the South of Biggin Hill. Following the Road down to Westerham we parked on the side and then bagged both Westerham heights and Betsom's Hill. It would have been rude not to.Dragonzilla27/08/2015
OpenStreetMap on GPS has the boundary on E verge opposite house. Convenient parking in gateway same side of road. My final LB highpoint on way home from Heathrow, having summitted the Cameroon, Belgium and Netherlands national HPs during the week: quite an eclectic bunch!RHW08/03/2015
Parked along track/driveway at TQ435564. Highest point is a few metres S on opposite verge on busy A233.webmaster26/02/2015
Have driven this way in the past. Road closed this pm due to traffic accident so didn't make it. Leaving unticked for a GPS visit when next passing.RHW22/02/2015
Not an impressive summit, if indeed it can be called that. With Roguemaltose09/02/2015

Part of Betsom Hill, Kent Historic County Top walk with Gina. Really wet day so rather than planned 11 mile circular walk ended up driving round and doing short walk to bag days tops.Parked in field entrance blocked by tree trunk opposite lane to Little Betsom Farm. Walked NW along both sides of busy road to Westerham Heights Farm to ensure visit high point.SteveSmith06/01/2015
A dangerous spot!catman09/10/2014

Walked from Kent county top about 100m down the road. Equally disappointing. With Rich, Chris and Andy.Biffin03/11/2013
nothing that's not been said before.. maybe we could petition the house owner to get a huge granite slab installed in the garden as a summit feature..stig_nest21/09/2013
While trying to find somewhere to park for Betsoms Hill.Newton Maximus26/07/2013
It was a box ticker. We walked from Westerham itself - bloody dangerous road!markrussell30/05/2013
As said by others this is a mad spot, with no verge either side of road. Darted out from by Westerham Heights House and back, parking in lane by that, possible to get the Kent top from here too.nordicstar21/05/2013
climbed with Alli, started at Botley Hill and continued along the North Downs.Approached from north direction but found road very busy.Cold and even snowing at times. No view from point.Carried onto Clackett services and then back to Botley Hill.(8 miles)rickybalboa30/03/2013
Not the best place to find a summit.bolton17/01/2013
Parked in a field gateway by Westerham Heights when doing Betsom's Hill - Kent's historic county top. (PM)gerrybowes17/01/2013
Visited With Darren while trying to visit all the high points on London in one day.magirob10/01/2013
One of the scariest hills I've climbed. Traffic on the A233 is lethal and the top is on a blind corner. Felt safer on the Inn Pinn!prwild09/09/2012
Drive by hill. Close to housesteverd23/08/2012
Took a slight detour on the north downs waymcallmar14/04/2012

When visiting Betsom's Hill; busy road, didn't linger.Aye Jimmy12/12/2010
Biked from home (Kew) through Croydon. Great view towards Sout East into Kent. Time used 6 hours return. Nice and warm summer evening but it got 0:30 past midnight before I was home.NilsOS24/06/2010
Busy road with no path. Did not hang around too long in case I got asked to wash a car.Father Ted15/08/2009
I think this grid ref must be wrong as it's in Kent. However, if you walk 100 yards up the main road you reach the London border. Not an inspiring spot though.Herbert Anchovy09/05/2009
This was once a Palmerston Fort and is now all houses. Got as close as I could without upsetting people or horses! How can this also be a Kent top?Nick29/03/2009
Walked up the hill from the pub in time to catch sunrise.Overthehilljill07/12/2008
Same as the Kent county top for some reason called a different name.clivevilla16/09/2008
It's somewhere on the left hand side of the road about 200 metres past the pub (which I don't recommend visiting).Richard03/05/2008
So many uninspiring 'tops' round here I can't even remember what it was like at this spot!signyred27/01/2008
Bagged quickly with Betsom's Hill on a return trip from darkest Kent.kaapiovuohi23/12/2007

Not a very interesting county top - Trig point missing - great views in to the weald of Kentgriefmiester06/11/2005
With Mark did N Downs tops incl CTs of Kent(stables) and G. London(both Westerham Heights and at the time the conflicting location, depending on list used, of garden by reptile zoo. Also did Botley Hill -both old and new locations.Chris Pearson09/03/2005
Maybe the worst county top of the lot - a squeeze down the edge of a busy and pathless A-road to reach an indeterminate point near an eponymous house. The Kent top is nearby. A local bizarrely thought we were car valets and asked us to wash his car!wheresthepath22/10/2004
kent and london next to each otherjohnfwoolley19/02/2002
Did on the way to the Kent county top on my way from Beacon Shaw which on my old 1:50000 was the highest point in Greater Londongaryhoney15/01/2000

On verge of main road beneath the London sign.arranc30/12/1983
As part of Betsom's Hill - Kent CoU Highpoint - we walked along the busy road for a while to this point. Unceremoniously unmarked for London's Highpoint !!!ChinnockCblank
