14:30, very hot, cloudy, humid. Good view of houses on other side of road.Wycombe Wanderer17/07/2018
Muddy walk from Keyham.callumorr11/03/2018
Dropped Barbara off for jury service in Leicester so drove a few miles for an easy bag. Celebrated by buying a new car later in the morning.Campbell Singer20/07/2017
Low point of the day - literally and metaphorically. Took reading at T-junction on verge closest to the houses.Aye Jimmy10/05/2017
With Sail & Coel.Dangerous Dave26/02/2017
Easy win.Ramblingpaul30/08/2016
Crossed the road at the junction and wandered into the scrub for a handy loo stop on the way home from Melton Mowbray.Herbert Anchovy21/07/2016
First of three Midlands UA high points.ngthack27/12/2015
As others, parked in Layby and walked to junction and wandered about for a few minutes.PeterD04/10/2015
you can park at the junction as there is a small lay by and after all your only going to be there for sixty seconds max. park up,wonder round, drive off,job doneWAYNE ROWLETT26/07/2015
1/1 Quick bag in morning as staying nearby on very wet dayFergalh03/05/2015
nothing positive to say about this - the road is a bit of a rat run though - so watch out for speed freaks.stig_nest23/04/2015
The 3rd of 9 county high points todaymcallmar08/04/2015
1) Mound E side of road, manmade as previously noted. Also visited 2 points in Scraptoft: 2) SK 64405 05435 appears to be back garden of 27 Kirkwall Cres, c110m: front door visited is also above 110m; 3) Oak tree S side of Scraptoft Lane E of Bowhill Grove c.109m.RHW20/12/2014
Quick stop on way home from trip to the dales , drive by with a quick stop for pic , was raining .Haygalzer20/04/2014
Road junction. Drive by.arranc19/04/2014
Collected in the car with Russ - did bother to get out but it's really not worth it!Richard23/11/2013
Nice junction, easy parking. Mike and Mary refused to get out of the car.Newton Maximus15/11/2013
Close to the road.bolton20/03/2013
On a 5 county top jaunt as the weather was fine, at least not raining anyway. Everywhere there was standing water on the fields and tracks, bad decision to wear my canvas walking boots duh. Why did I do this one, well, because it was there.Mark T19/03/2013
There's a pile of earth by the opening to the golf course so at least, even though it is obviously man-made, there is a mound to stand on. Sad really.clivevilla12/02/2013
Another classic bag on the way home from a meeting in Leicester. Dark by the time I arrived but not a bad area. Parked next to the junction and walked around a bit, got back in the car and drove home.RichieRambler10/12/2012
mm!Bramley08/12/2012
After HuMP, Whatborough Hill then off to Sratford Upon Avon, still sunny.Dugswell216/10/2012
Yet another dull and boring unitary top. At least no trespass required and plenty of easy parkingHillsidenick04/10/2012
Easy bag travelling back up north. Nice enough estate, quiet, parked by corner and wandered about area. Nothing to inspire, even the nearby trig was in dull wet field w horses.nordicstar12/07/2012
Drove up here with my Gran past Hamilton Village, deceased. The village, not my Gran...DanHolme27/08/2011
Parking is easy enough!destaylor26/08/2011
Only compulsive baggers need bother.Overthehilljill06/06/2011
Bagged with Josh, nice top!simon and co20/03/2011
The top is literally the middle of a T-Junction on an estate road. So being a Leicester local i took myself on a small drive to the top. Really not worth any amount of effort, unless you are driving past or are completely OCD in hill bagging everythingCap_Thunderbolt22/11/2010
First of 4 County tops today, near by trip point was more of a challenge being hidden in the middle of the edge ! http://www.heavyhorses.co.uk/humpsheavyhorses11/05/2010
Nondescript "top" near the village of *Crapto** that wouldn't have been worth going out of my way for if it hadn't have been for 2 geocaches nearby. Highest point is on ridge in Golf course but that is outside UA boundary!signyred19/01/2010
Nice place to park the car on keyham lane, thats really close to the point. shame the area was covered in litter. The Team29/03/2009
after deserted village with sarahmr bounce24/01/2009
An easy top. True drive-by. Nice to tack on to the end of a topping (and bottoming) day.kaapiovuohi04/10/2008
Handy layby in Keyham Lane just walk over junction.chris creedy26/05/2008
As everyone else says fairly boring top, parked on the street about half a mile away to have some kind of a walk.rhalstead04/08/2007
Yep pretty dull area. Nice traffic.electricratman06/04/2007
not much of a ua top, also pulled in the nearby trigpoint which was also not very inspiring.asbown24/02/2007
Yet another easy to claim high spot, just park in Keyham Lane and walk over to the junction.Nick24/09/2006
A very boring urban county top made a bit more enjoyable by a visit to the nearby trig point.Father Ted04/02/2006
An easy but very dull top in what seemed a bit of a dodgy area (didn't like leaving the car there, even for a short time).wheresthepath23/07/2005
Have driven over several times on rat-runs from work, without ever contemplating until now that I was 'climbing a hill' in doing so...poppiesrara01/01/2004
110m contour crosses boundary at junction of Hamilton Lane and Keyham Lane West. Also touches boundary a little to the South at SK 64405 05435, Scraptoft residential area but this measured lower on GPSwebmaster02/07/2003
