From Warren Row. Parked in pull-in at 814806, W. along lane for about 100m & left up Chiltern Way through magnificent beech woodland to byway - Turned right & along byway before heading across to the high ground SE of reservoir fence.gerrybowes19/06/2023

From Ashley Hill following Chiltern Way through Warren Row. Higher ground within reservoir compound on Hatchgate Lane 50m NE of Bowsey Manor entrance, but most likely man made. Went for high point 5m from lane along SE reservoir boundary.mntainman05/07/2020

Parked in Warren row and used the Chiltern way up through a lovely wood returned the same way and then continued onto Ashley hill. Two and half miles in an hour a great walk.WAYNE ROWLETT28/06/2020
Pleasant, if muddy woodland walk including Bowsey and Ashley Hills. HP small mound just outside reservoir fence.maclrc22/02/2020
HP just outside small reservoir enclosure, near track, on open woodland on a showery windy day. Ground covered by copper- coloured beech leaves.Denise 15/02/2020
Circuit of woodland and field paths including Ashley Hill from Knowl Hill on a grey and wet afternoon, plenty of mud around. High point a low mossy bank in beech woods at SE corner of resr. enclosure. No views.RichardM15/02/2020
From Warren Row by footpath. After a very wet December bridleways in the Chilterns did not appeal. In fact, the route running along the ridge was an old road still with its hard surface so I returned E along it and took the first fp L back to Warren Row. Lovely sunny light through the bare trees- and some views on this 50min walk on a day too good to miss. The obvious walk is to combine with Ashley Hill but I wasn't thinking about Tumps back when I bagged that Hump.pwheeler23/12/2019
Walked both Bowsey Hill and Ashley Hill as part of circular walk. Fairly easy walk even in the mud and rain.jarmin4515/12/2019
2nd Tump of 4 today and continuing from my Wargrave island exploration up on nice paths including Chiltern Way (Berkshire loop). Road further on appears as high as pointed out by other baggers. Continuing for Ashley Hill from the South. Wokingham U/a completion.Dazingdale21/08/2019

On own. From Warren Row up paths through deciduous woods to summit next to fence of covered reservoir compound. There is a 9' high wire fence on the other side of road as a new housing development seems to have been started.Beeliner22/03/2019

Gorgeous autumn colours. A golden brown carpet through the beech trees from Warren Row. One could try a sneaky drive up the road from the north but you would miss a delightful forest stroll.Campbell Singer16/11/2017

Started near the A4 and came up past Lot Farm. The top is uncertain but I'm going for somewhere between the houses and the reservoir. Now in the Dewdrop Inn for fish and chips!Nick24/09/2016
Easy now to bag summit of Ashley Hill then a quick dash to bag the black trig on a quiet Friday morning then off to Bowsey Hill.Dugswell209/09/2016

A nice walk up the Chiltern Way through woods from Warren Row which is the site (somewhere?) of a former secret regional command nuclear bunker, built during the cold war. This was tasked with running the London region if London and its government had been destroyed by a nuclear attack. Sobering. The site chosen was originally tunnels dug into the chalk and used as an underground aircraft components factory during WWII. Today it has become a protected storage facility operated by a security company. (source: wiki). Quite what this means..?Chris Pearson14/06/2015
From a covered reservoir to the south, but could have driven to top from NW. HP seemed to be a little south of another covered resr, around the area of a house named Hilltop.jonglew03/06/2015

Agree nr houses as high, back to WR then via Pudding Hill lane to woods and steeps to Ashley Hill top. Walked around house compound, may have spied trig? Ran back to start.
