Round of Beinn a'Bhuird & Ben Avon from Invercauld on a warm & sunny day solo. Followed the track along Gleann an t-Slugain past the ruin & then up S spur of Beinn a'Bhuird taking in a couple of tops for a fine summit view. E down over Cnap a'Chleirich to main summit of Ben Avon. Then S visiting other tors, Carn Eas & Creag an Dail Mhor before passing over Carn Eag Dubh to rejoin the outward route. Most of Ben Avon plateau was very easy going helped by the dry conditions.NotReallyABagger05/09/2001

After camping with friends at Inchrory. I had reached Inchrory the previous day by getting a bus to Strathdon and walking from there. We left Inchrory at 07:20 on path to East Meur Gorm Crag, West Meur Gorm Crag, Leabaidh an Daimh Bhuidhe. At SW Top I left friends and went over Carn Eas, Craig an Dail (Mhor and Bheag) and Carn Liath, down track to east to Keiloch where caught bus to Aberdeen, hence train to Stonehaven.pwbellarby24/05/1992
