Simple walk from Sron nan Colan. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 09/01/2023 |
Up the mine zigzags from Tyndrum lower station. Back the same way, as long wet grass in a fire break didn't sound preferable! | davidpettit84 | 14/10/2022 |
Via zig zag mine track round to Meal Odhar. Descend steep grass to south east to Cononish track and back to Tyndrum. | Fife Walking | 21/08/2022 |

From Sron nan Colan, remains of boundary fence gave the best route. Part of very good circuit from Tyndrum to Meall Odhar(qv for log) | pwheeler | 22/03/2020 |
After Sròn nan Colan. Rough grass on ground beginning to reacquire wetness after some recent rain. Down south-westwards towards Meall Odhar with occasional footpath along line of prominent ridge (droma, from Gaelic druim, literally spine) which some have identified with Druim Alban (“backbone of Scotland”), of major significance in the early history of Scotland. | mainnirnamfiadh | 25/07/2018 |
Grand views down Glen Lochy. | summitter | 29/06/2018 |
parked at lower tyndrum train station cp, up zig zag path, return forestry track through trees, sron nan colan, drochaid an droma, meall odhar, beinn chuirn, beinn chuirn south top. | robertphillips | 24/06/2018 |
Took a similar route to Robert, but without the two Beinn Churn tops. The cairn on Sron currently sports a small Saltire. Drochaid an Droma's high point is either the northern or southern rocky top; the flat rock in between is lower. The descent from Meall Odhar to the Cononish track is seriously hard going over unremitting tussocks. | Nick Down1 | 24/06/2018 |
Up from Tyndrum Lower railway station via the old lead mine scree and Sron nan Colan. Walked right past this one on the way to Meall Odhar last time. | Lindsay M | 18/07/2017 |

On way to Graham. Watershed bagging. | jimbloomer | 02/05/2017 |
Solo. From Tydrum up the zig-zag path beside the old lead mines - an easy way to gain height. On to Sron nan Colan. Summit is cairn on rocky knoll. Easy walking to the summit of Drochaid an Droma. Highest point is rock - there is a minute cairn beside it. Continued to Meall Odhar. | pwbellarby | 16/09/2016 |
from Tyndrum back via Summits and gold mine back to Tyndrum | cjo | 14/05/2016 |
Meall Odhar from Tyndrum. On own. | MorecambeMonkey | 28/07/2015 |
From Tyndrum BTW hostel. Followed route up to and through old lead mines. Watch the line/zig zags. In snow was tricky. Gained Sron nan Colan, then into biting wind/snow to Droma sub top then Graham Beinn Odhar. Deep snow, glad to reverse route with wind on backs. Tough day! | nordicstar | 28/12/2013 |
Done after the Graham and before the awful scree. | Play2End | 10/03/2013 |
