Paking in large estate road splay at NH60412460. Do not obstruct. Follow estate road south, keeping right (south) where the new windfarm track joins at NH60452404. Continue to junction at Achnaloddan NH60392349, keep left, slightly downhill to cross the river and start climbing towards the new windfarm Substation. As you cross the cattlegrid at NH60722278 you can break right onto the open hillside to ascend the obvious blunt north ridge of Beinn Mheadhoin. The heather is medium depth, not too troublesome, for most of the walk. Pass over a small top at NH60482204 before continuing a little more steeply to an obvious large cairn. The true summit is a short way further on marked by a much smaller pile of stones type cairn.geralddavison18/03/2024

Parked at Y junction end of estate road. Track towards power station then broad ridge to summit. Onwards to Creag a'Chliabhain via Loch ConagleannMinto13/01/2024
Parked at triangle, on B851, to north of hill. Followed road past Achnaloddan towards power station. Across heather from cattlegrid up to summit. With Jill & Minto.Dangerous Dave13/01/2024

With KeithbytheC. Parked at the entrance to the Dumnaglass Lodge track. Followed Gill's route over Beinn Mheadhoin and over the dam to Creag a Chliabhain. After crossing the dam slope quite bracken but sticking near the fence up to the ridge there is a bit of a path. Very heathery up past the pheasant pens and onto the ridge with the new trees. A better way to go is on reaching the ridge there is an unmapped track, turn right here, go down the track a bit, then a faint ATV track leads off to the left up the RHS of the ridge. This avoids the majority of heather and bracken. This is the way we descended. Walk 9.4 miles out about 5hrs.JulieB23/07/2022
From B851 where track to Dumnaglass Lodge leaves the road. Along track towards Power Station. Up easy slopes on the right just before reaching a deer fence. Descended SE ridge to join track near Allt nan Adag via gated deer fence thru new plantation. KeithByTheC23/07/2022

Walk to the bridge then straight up, not too difficult. Decided to head to Creag a'Chliabhain via dam which was straightforward.curlebd01/05/2022
Left windfarm track at cattle grid at 60727/22766 and up through mostly short heather. Descended approx SSW through deeper heather to deer fence corner. Got to another windfarm track at 59900/21180. No deer fences to cross on this route.duchally21/04/2022
alone, bit heathery the way I went up after going up the track from the big bridge, around the fenced forest, came off on the other side, nice grassy slopes, but a few deer fences to go through, they do have some gates.. had to climb over the last onetallblond12/03/2022

Parked in y junction at bins opposite estate drive, very quiet junction, most of the car off the road. Up through estate drive, over lodge bridge, up windfarm road and cut round the fence with the new deciduous forest. Followed line of fence until we reached the SE ridge. Messy, heathery but no nasty surprises.iangalbraith16/01/2022
Beautiful day given that it’s November. Cut areas to begin with, then heather bashing. Easier near the top and all in all a straight forward hill to climb. With Gmac14 xelizyanne14/11/2021

Self and dog. Very windy. The phone box no longer exists and in fact there is more verge available for parking near the main wind farm entrance. Be aware there are more deer fences and areas of new planting than on any map. Lower part of SE ridge is well defended but there are gates at NH60822068 and above it at 60892083. N ridge from track at 60852250 is easy route avoiding obstacles.Invicta1416/06/2021

From the main entrance to Dumnaglass, then wind farm track. At the bridge, joined the hill track towards Beinn Mheadhoin. At the top gate, a sort of steep grassy path then steep mown heather (how?) to the top deer fence, left to a corner strainer where you can get through the fence. Heathery shite, then nice terrain higher up. Fine views from summit. Nice going down the SE ridge, small path, to gate, then 2nd gate to track, NW to river crossing, fine in dry weather. Across dam, up grassy area to pheasant pens, then baby trees and heather on ridge line, then W to join soggy ATV track. This expires by a fence, gate to W uphill, then vile boggy shite to Creag a' Chliabhain, nice summit. Easily down sinking softly into the shite. ATV track passes W of pheasant pens to join unmapped track leading to the Lodge and the outward route.Gill22/04/2021
After bagging the nearby trig and Tump to the east, headed up this summit from the long SE ridge. Half way along it we bumped into Gill who was after a couple of Marilyns. We spent a pleasant 10 mins chatting before we went our separate ways. Carrying on to the summit we enjoyed a well earned lunch at the slightly lower cairn and basked in the hot sunshine. Started from the telephone box on the B851 and down the private estate road towards Dunmaglass Lodge. Before reaching the lodge we took a left fork along the Turbine Track to a bridge over the main river. A loose stone path gave us access through a woodland to the north west flank of Beinn Mheadhoin, from which it was simply a battle against the strengthening wind to the summit. Next went SE down to rejoin the Turbine Track, shoes and socks off to cross the snowy/icy Allt Cailtidh, then to the even snowier and windier Beinn Bhuidhe trig. Headed home via Garbhal Mor, following a fence line most of the way. Forest rides eventually enabled us to get back onto the B851 - but not a recommended route.summitter29/02/2020

From the phone box at 607245. A fast walk to the wind turbine bridge at 595219 before heading up the fence line on the north side of the forest and then directly to the summit. Headed to Creag a'Chliabhain via the dam. Solo.bolton14/02/2019
