Parked down by Loch a Loin but I met a stalking party later who said I should have parked on the road and they would rather I wasn't on the hill during the stalking season. Anyway, went up the ATV and tracks by the Allt na Criche to the south top and then over to Caillich itself then cut back to the west side of the river and out - all very straightforward. Fantastic views of the eastern corries of Beinn Bhan and up towards Torridon, Skye misty. Nice round. Went on to do An Staonach.StueyB04/11/2023
The Allt a' Chuirn horseshoe from the substation and cattle grid along the A896 to the south. Started with estate tracks until due south of Creag Dabaobh, then straight up through heather, grasses, moss and lichen to its top, going over a deer fence en route. On to Glas Bheinn's trig and summit cairn, then rocky outcrops to the impressive Creag na h-lolaire and Sgurr a' Ghairaidh. Easier terrain to take in the minor tops of Meall na Caillich and Carnan before rejoining the estate tracks and the car. A good day out without coming across a fellow hiker. 5hrs total.summitter22/03/2022
