Logged Descriptions  (logged by 23 users)ByDate of Ascent
From W of Culloch, along track through reeds, across drainage ditch, through trees and along tracks through bracken to standing stone memorial (rather wonderful with a full moon rising beyond it), returning along grassy path to Culloch.Nick Down126/12/2023
From the minor road to SE, parking on N side of western most bend, a bit on a bank, not the passing place further east. Through sparse trees, to highest point of oak trees. Then up through bracken, easy enough in winter, Then across a few damp bits, past juniper bushes to memorial stone at summit.Minto25/11/2021
Parked the bike besides a gate on B827 below a ruined house NW of the summit. Hopped over a gate, crossed an open field to the ruin, then pretty much followed a ridge-line fence to the top. Lovely summit memorial to Shona & Jimmysummitter13/04/2020
A quick bag, up from near culloch.robertphillips22/01/2020
From Culloch.- Room to park car at entrance. Horrendous bracken. Nice top.russell6116/09/2019
Crossed on Scottish 6 Day, day 1 Auchingarrich. Probably not the fastest route! Tough day out: 5:30 up, 5 hours on starts, 2 hour+ run and 5k collecting controls.nix_snilloc28/07/2019
Quick and easy from metal gate east of Culloch in early spring sun. May be a bracken issue in summer.Topographer5720/03/2018
From the bend in the road to the South (Culloch) and up a broad path which is clear of bracken to top with standing stone and good view of Comrie. Farmer at Culloch is a fine old fellow who pointed me in the right direction.NormanW09/09/2017
Straightforward ascent from gate just east of Culloch.JohnW11/06/2016
P entrance to Auchingarrach. Walked up road to just past Bishopsfauld. Strangely all the gates were open all the way to the top. S26B completed!chrisbien24/04/2016
Number six of ten from Crieff. Same route as Lindsay, not pleasant as the pasture was completely pitted and churned by cattle. nice standing stone on top though. Onward route to Lurgan Hill was a mess of dead brackenColin Crawford29/12/2015
Parked beside bins just E of junction to N of hill. Walked S along road for short distance then followed wall/fence to top.Lindsay M30/08/2015
Much better and quicker than expected. Path from Bishopsfauld to NW then easy pasture and grass to standing stone on top.alda15/12/2014
