Surprisingly simple walk from Wether Hill. Visited both 500m contours in the trees. Solo.Dangerous Dave11/06/2023
From Wether Hill via hill tracks to fire tower, then via fire break (difficult to see start of it) until it changes into a 'path', then up through trees to top.Isbjorn26/05/2021
Parked at gate for the Wether Hill wind farm (NX 6904 9221), it was unlocked, could have driven a lot of today's walk. Followed wall N ~250m to pick up the terminus of a new unmapped wind farm road, followed this round to Carroch Hill, on to Greengair, continued N to NX 6916 9420, where an old road served to Corlae Hill. After that wind breaks to here. Backtracked partially for Wether Hill then Corrodow trig pillar. A pleasant 10 mile round.jonglew16/04/2021
Easy parking at end of graded road at 690922 & up Wether Hill. From Wether Hill, dropped down to tracks & N. to fire tower - Shortly after tower, headed across to gap in wall & start of firebreak - Along faint ATV track to clearing & then along edge of clearing to high point - WSW into trees for about 30m to small, flat summit area which Is free of trees. Parked on the bend near some trees at 714950. Crossed the river easily in this dry spell, over the wall and followed a track against the forest. From the fire tower a wide ride to the north takes you around the back of the summit before a very short bash to find the top. Rained on this solo walk.bolton06/05/2019
From Yellow Craig (Private in case you miss the signs) up the wind farm access track to the summit of Wether Hill. Track out to firebreak on Martour Hill with decent trod to just beyond summit and push into fairly light tree cover. Returned same way.SS29/12/2018
Via Corlae Hill good FB to top, entered trees ( just a couple of branches to move ) from South into small clearing then a few metres to top.Anton12/07/2017
Parked Craigenbeast, waded across river & up beside forest to Corlae Hill. Then good wide break from NX693952 to summit.Bob G01/10/2016
parked craigenbeast up side of trees, then firebreak and through trees to the top.robertphillips25/05/2016

P NX685912 Took forestry and windfarm tracks to Corlae Hill then firebreak to clearing just E of summit of MH back to Greengair then SW to S wall back to track. Failed on Auchenstroan.chrisbien18/04/2014
From Wether Hill, track and firebreak along NW shoulder take you to near the top, then it's a short fight with the trees.agentmancuso17/03/2012
