2/5 (Yr Allt/Pentir-bach/Llaneglwys Wood/Werntoe/Cefn Llwydallt) | Fergalh | 04/02/2024 |
Late start after a wet morning. Pete found a suitable hill- below 200 m above sl. We parked on the bridge- Pont Goleugoed- as used the route described by gerrybowes EXCEPT we went direct to the trig/bench through the bramble/bracken; the thickest bracken had the least bramble. We noted a trodden path along the ridge so follwed this to the stile- much better, then returned the same way. Cloudy but bright afternoon. | pwheeler | 19/09/2023 |
Heart of Wales Trail Day 9
Approached from PRW in field but horribly dense bramble and bracken even in December for final yards to the trig. | Rob Rees | 05/12/2022 |
Followed gerrybowes route on re-routed RoW, useful little stile near the summit, and grass cut back on the way to the quaint seating area around the trig point. Good views. | LizH | 01/06/2022 |

RoW has been rerouted & now starts about 60m N. of the original start point & makes use of the track shown on the 1:25,000 map. Parked on wide verge above entrance to Lletty-ifan Ddu at SN 7440 3050 - Up waymarked RoW & after passing through kissing gate at 739303 headed up side of field to stile in fence corner - Over stile, up steps & along flat embankment to summit GR & trig point. From SN 7440 3048, got the car snucked in without blocking the 2 gates. RoW initially then followed fenceline up. Trig pillar might not be the HP but has an interesting seat built round it. | jonglew | 19/12/2019 |

Parked on the minor road to the NE, west along this road to the ROW before heading up the pasture. Over a bwf to the summit which is close to the trig which has a seat built around it. | clivevilla | 06/02/2019 |
