From Fassfern house (BHMC winter week), track to bothy, with Mark E, Nigel & Dave C. Dryalwaysinshorts10/03/2024
Car park at Fassfern. Forest road to footbridge then track up to the col below Meall a Phubuill. ATV track towards hill then up grass to ridge. Tiny cairn to north of larger cairn is by summit rock. Solo.Dangerous Dave01/12/2023

From Fassfern up to Glensulaig for Meall a' Phubuill returning over Meall Onfhaidh and Aodann Chleireig.rhalstead22/10/2021
Fassfern to Bothy (with Sal who was on way to Meall a' Phubuill) to Meall Onfhaidh (diagonal descent OK in summmer) then Aodann Chleireig (enjoyed scrambles through a few rock bands). Straightforward descent to Sluice to ESE down a rocky terrace then on to track.davechaffey05/08/2021

From the Corbett. Steep but good ground to the col, then steep and not quite such good ground to the top. Unsightly but speedy hydro track now extends as far as the Leth Allt, aimed straight for that on mostly reasonable but quite steep ground, then a fairly fast plod along the track through the plantation back to Fassfern to beat an incoming weather front.Owen B23/05/2021
From Fassfern on tracks to the bridge over Allt Fionn Doire. Followed wet ATV track till I lost it. Visited large cairn and top. Followed furthest S stream about to about 400m before cutting across to the ATV track. A lightish shower of about 20 mins. Cold at the top but generally warm.chrisbien18/05/2021
Solo trip. On its own without Aodann Chleireig - reascent of over 300m was just too much on a squally hail-showery day. Up by the east ridge, down the Leth Allt by clear deer-tracks to a new hydro road at NN013822 which joins up with forest track west of the An t-Suileag.Invicta1429/04/2021

From Fassfern out towards bothy then up track to bridge then ATV track to north east ridge (Grant and Rod left here for Gulvain). Weather break near summit gave views of everything round about but on reaching col closed in so back down corrie to track and Fassfern.SS09/06/2019
From Fassfern via the bothy on the E side of the river, and up the NE ridge on a boggy ATV track to Meall Onfaidh, which then turns to become the SE ridge. Wandered over several candidate summit bumps to ensure the bag. Steep but easy descent on SW ridge, then up the N ridge of Aodann Chleireig, much more interesting than it looks, finding the way up easy breaks in the crags. Visited multiple summit candidates of similar height before realising that an arsewipe had chucked the cairn down onto the grass below. Rebuilt it, then down the SE ridge, finding an ATV track after the gate going down through the forest. Use it now before it gets completely overgrown. Maybe will need to use the forest road in a few years time.Gill11/06/2018

Follow on ridge to 520m and then easy scramble up steep ground to summit plateau. Great views on a bright sunny day. Garven looking esp good.nordicstar25/08/2014
