The 8th top of an anticlockwise circuit of 10 Birketts/Synges on W. side of Eskdale, starting with Brock Crag & finishing on Bull How. From Whin Crag, encountered a bit of boggy ground, but generally good underfoot conditions. Continued to Goat Crag. (PM)gerrybowes02/11/2017

First on circuit of the nearby hills starting from Woolpack Inn. Parking allowed if you leave car-keys at reception (in case of alarms going off etc.). Continued to Whinscale - Eskdale. On return to pub had an exquisite pint of Ennerdale Blonde, a local brew and highly recommended.Aye Jimmy14/07/2015
