| From Glasnacardoch via path to Lochs an Nortarie and Eireagoraidh before slanting upwards to ascend complex craggy ground to right of the obvious nose. Complex ground probably best left for day with clear visibility. Descent via easier open grassier slopes to E and then contoured round to pick up path on N side of the loch. | From old Mallaig Road & track north of Loch clockwise circuit cutting across the land to come up it from western end. This meant coming down the southern end which was much more difficult and tricky than I'd imagined. Complex craggy terrain. Had to climb back up and forced further east before I could eventually pick my way with some difficulty than the South Ridge and then slightly southwest to eventually get down to the Western end of the Loch. Then up the southerly Marilyn over equally tricky complex terrain. | From Glasnacardoch, parking just N of junction, NM675955. Good path, 1.5km, to picnic table and galv. gate, NM687958. At gate, key marker post for N path is 15m away, NE, completely obscured by a tree - the lower path is poorly defined and, after 35 days of precipitation, the Allt a Bhainne was in spate. The upper path is well defined, churned up by a TLV, both paths waterlogged. Looked at the nose, but decided there was too much dead ground which could waste energy route finding - so chose easy ascending TR, R, across E flank, steepening, up An Tx and grass nibbled lawn-short by sheep. | Isbjorn | 17/06/2019 |

| From Glasnacardoch lower path, good at first, then a soggy ATV track, then a better path to Loch Eireagoraidh. Direct up the nose from the loch on short, dry grass, very steep but easy, following sheep tracks to dodge the crags. Down eastwards and then south to the loch. Bad weather blowing in, so I beat a hasty retreat in a gale and torrential rain. A hill best done in good visibility, to dodge the crags successfully. | Gill | 11/10/2018 |

Steeply up threading through crags to summit. Sadly Vanessa is no more, in pieces no signs of spider or plate. | Parked at 676957 at the turn off for Glasnacardoch. Walked beautiful southern most path to edge of Loch an Nortarie and on to Loch Eireagoraidh. One deer fence to out wit at a corner. | From the lower Glasnacardoch path. The upper track is wet and boggy. Fillowed the road then good track to Loch an Nostarie. Good line thereafter following old water pipe coming down from Loch Eiragoraidh. Indistict in just one place. Deer fence with a dodgy stile them path continues to upper lochan. Steep turn to left to climb Carn an Ghobhair. Steep summits but grassy rakes to obvious summit. Down and around east end of Eiraghoraidh before direct line up Sgurr Bhuidhe. Complex top, route finding in mist without GPS would be tricky, several cairned tops. Down the main drainage line to North to Loch and back same way in just under 5 hrs. | Solo. From car park at Glasnacardoch. Along good path to Loch an Nostarie. Thereafter path not at all good. Approached summit from east side to avoid crags - no difficulties. | Parked in small car park at Glasnacardoch. Under railway by cottages on gravel path to Loch an Nostarie. Well trodden path led to a rugged pass between today's 2 hills. Left uphill over steep tussock. No indication of human path. Snow flecks. Eventually to summit area to decide which of 2 or 3 tumps was the top. 2 or 3 ways to get higher but way blocked by sheer rock faces. Retraced steps twice moving further west to clamber up a third green crack to a very confusing rock covered area and to top at 12.45. Small pile of stones on a grey and white boulder.
