Walk with VJ after being rained off from Borrowdale. Clear all day until last hill Pikawassa when rain ame in. Cloud base above summits so great views. Nice walk out, 10 tops in total.Mark T23/07/2017
From Arthur's Pike then beeline to Scalegate. Best bit of walk was seeing the big fells silhouetted in the haze and the sun gleaming off Ullswater. Worst bit was a dying lamb being eaten by flies. Beat the rain. 2.5 hoursWycombe Wanderer21/06/2017

Walked up from the dead-end road running away from Helton. Plenty of parking at the start of the bridleway and excellent, dry, easy to follow tracks all the way to the summit. Wouldn't do this on its own, best suited to part of a walk to the higher fells beyond.moorsman02/05/2013
