Clockwise round of the Brothers Ridge from the parking area off the small road East of the Cluanie Inn. Set off on bike down the A87 at 8am and was lucky to only have one car need to pass me - was locking the bike up at Glen Shiel car park by 8:20am and starting the leg burster up to Bealach na Lapain. Great views on the ascent, but low cloud meant limited views on the ridge, until the final munro. Total time from car-back-to-car = 5h 54minmproudfoot01/05/2022

A round of three Munro's the last time i attempted this round i was beaten back by adverse weather. The weather today was interesting with a magnificent inversion flowing from Loch Duich to Loch Ness, i rose above and walked in sunshine for most of the way until cloud came in on the way to the col before Saileag. The combination of cloud and low sun treated me to a Brocken spectre complete with glory that followed me for about ten minutes or more.thenomad10/11/2014

Parked at approx NH 055 115 at the edge of the plantation and used path up Coire Tholl Bhruach to bag this my 200th Munro as it was the best of the 3 on the route. Lovely sunny but windy day. Far better to start here then a long boring walk on a road.Jhimmy16/05/2014
Good clear day. Little snow to the top but the final ridge to the summit carn was snowed up. It is a little exposed and a bit of a scramble but no hard moves. Any wind would make it serious in winterwychwood26/03/2014

having camped at W end of loch Claunie with Jasper the Dalmatian, I'd diven down to a bit befor Shiel bridge and up to the W end of South Glenshiel ridge, all the way W-E to Creag a'Mhaim, down to camp and next day E-W all along the brothers and sisters in too hot weather and not enough water had me skimming insects off the top of small summit ridge lochans to drink from. Finally steeply off the W edge of the Five Sisters and stuck out my thumb and fortunately someone stopped and relieved my tired legs to get a lift back to my Citroen Xantia. 13 new Munros in 2 days.vegibagger17/05/1999

The best weather by far on the 1991 trip to Scotland. Cluanie- Am Bathach- Ciste Dubh- Aonach Meadhoin- Sgurr a'Bhealaich Dheirg- Saileag- Sgurr a'Bhealaich Dheirg- Meall a' Charra- Cluanie, with brother, Pete. Highest point of the day, carefully visiting the top which is on the N ridge, not the main spine of the N Kintail ridge. Magnificent views near and far, similar in atmosphere to the Five Sisters here.pwheeler22/05/1991
An epic solo jaunt over the Five Sisters & the North Shiel ridge starting from the outdoor centre near Morvich. Fairly brutal ascent up the N flank of Sgurr na Moraich on an already unseasonably warm day. Over the Five Sisters more easily. Decided to continue along the ridge & got as far as Aonach Mheadhoin. Continued on to Ciste Dhubh & then descended carefully NW as dusk approached to pick up the good path heading W. Eventually reached the car about 2 hours after sunset & decided to crash in the back. Fairly uncomfortable night & woken next morning by the bleating of sheep surrounding the car! (Again on 28/05/07 with Shaky from Glen Shiel for ridge from Saileag to Aonach Mheadhoin & then Ciste Dhubh. Unpleasant walk back along A87 to finish.)NotReallyABagger28/03/1991
