From NE, good verge parking, heather path then dense juniper to wall summit, fought S through juniper to fine cairn, easily back NE over heather then along road. Nice area, albeit challenging!RHW11/10/2023
Loads of parking past the ruined farm. Followed paths through lovely juniper woodland to both summits.PeteF15/09/2023
From the north. Could have parked by the ruined farm, but there's a much bigger parking area 200m further along the road. My first walk failed because I took the big track starting to the right of the building. Second attempt found a fainter track and gates to the left of the building. I saw the cairn from the path and came back via the ruined wall.Pete R07/10/2022
Parked NE of summit of verge, room for a good few well considered parked cars. Battle through undergrowth to summit, cairn and other contenders.CJM01/02/2022
4 of 4: From Creag Ghlas-uaine via Loch an Eilein. We took the track from the loch to Achnagoichan but it is very overgrown. In 2006 I took the track to Lochan Deo which would have been a better choice. We returned west to Croft through fields and woodland. With Karen.ChrisR20/01/2022
from the minor road near whitewell verge parking, visited both areas.robertphillips25/09/2021

From Upper Tullochgrue taking route of path shown from ruins. All very indistinct in fresh snow. Followed a trodden path back to road- I meant to go to Achnagoichan directly but had to follow the new forest road from Whitwell- returned back to start (cattle grid) via Lochan Deo. Dreich but views and not too much drizzle- grey and white landscape todaypwheeler06/05/2021

From minor road nr Whitewell, early morning ascent. Cairned top much nicer views of forest than nr wall so gets my vote. Interesting hut circles on ground amidst scots pinesnordicstar26/06/2017

Parked at Whitewell and followed tracks. There is a large cairn but the highest point seems to be further on amongst some tall trees and by a low ruined wall.JohnW12/04/2016
Pretty good path from Loch an Eilein car park, returned along a better path a little further south.alda20/02/2016
Parked at cattle grid beyond Upper Tullochgrue (ruined but farm yard still in use), walked to Whitewell gate, w along estate track then NE along old track. Lots of gorse!RocksRock25/09/2015
