From Glenuaig Lodge.Peterb24/05/2023
Bike and hike via Glenuaig Lodge. Up and down a stalker's path. From the bottom of the path, the beginning is indistinct but the higher zigzags can clearly be seen. Then out as far as the Far East top for good views down the northern cliffs.Pete R16/04/2023

with Elizabeth. Steep up a path through grass and heather, onto summit and along grassy slopes to Sgurr nan Ceannaichean, down spur to path beside river. Very nice walk.Cumbrianexile15/04/2022

From Bearnaes bothy - log walk out E to bealach then descended to wire bridge. Headed up to Glenuaig Lodge then steep ascent up good path. Gradient eases towards summit. Min snow left. Weather still fab - was hot in the sun. Descended north then west hoping to cross country to track back to Craig but hampered by a new looking deer fence and ended back at the road some 5k to the E. Not an ideal end.wychwood21/03/2022
Hot day but straightforward Sherpa shuffle up the hill. Recognised by SW on way up. Late start but plenty of light. With Gmac xelizyanne24/07/2021

Solo clockwise route also taking in the corbett Sgurr nan Ceannaichean. Stayed dry, but was claggy above 600m all morning. 4h 43m total walking.mproudfoot02/11/2020
Waited in the bunkhouse at Ledgowan for it to stop raining - it didn't! Set off from Glencarron, up a very wet slope and then on to Sgurr nan Ceannaichan, before descending to the sound of rutting deer to Glencarron.jigglybones27/10/2020
Cimbed directly from the layby on the A890, once on the summit, I just returned to the car, as I didn't fancy including the adjacent corbett. 04:35hrs all in, overcast with a very cold wind and light drizzle on the summit ridge.chillyman825/09/2020

Solo, no views, rain.Chris Blake26/10/2017
good weather - intermittent cloud/sun, no rain, no wind! route straight up. there's a stalkers 'path' all the way - much the best route. very wet underfoot all the way and quite slide-y especially on way down. very steep mid section. poles essential if coming down same way.highlandchief04/07/2017
Moruisg + Sgurr nan Ceannaichean. Usual route, starting from layby on A890. Very wet underfoot. Broken cloud at top so views were not brilliant. Totally clear by the time I got back to car (typical). Nice walk though!tsharp21/04/2017
With Tony from Glen Carron. Traverse of Moruisg and Sgurr nan Ceannaichean. Managed to reach summits before it clouded over so good views of Torridon peaks and Skye.zoob03/06/2016
park on A890 and an easy path across the river under the railway and up. eventually you go over the crest and the path disappears but follow the hill up and meet a cairn on the east and cairn on the westAristotle Chip20/05/2016

Long steep ascent with little relief until the top is reached. Thin path if you can find it. Beware of new deer fences to protect the newly planted trees. Only a few gates I could see.Jhimmy27/06/2014

Solo. 1 Munro+Corbett. Cracker of a day, clear skies and very little wind. Set off early and had to do all the hard work in the snow for everyone else! :D 2hr20 to summit. 2hrs to Corbett (inc lunch). Off via N ridge and back via stalker path. 12.5km, 1070m 7hr.bowzi10/11/2013

Ascent by north ridge and continued over the tops to Carn Gorm. Light covering of snow and very fine weather. As for "no redeeming features", try the corries to the east and that view!fasgadh03/11/2012
