After the slog up Doune Hill East Top it looks like another slog up Doune Hill to the SW. Only a 79m descent to Bealach an Dúin but a whole 108m up the other side. Keep on a SW bearing avoiding the temptation to head right.SteveSmith02/08/2020
Five of the Glen Luss grahams solo during 5-mile restrictions after lockdown. Sunny and clear views.mproudfoot07/06/2020
We parked at the parking area in Glen Douglas, between Doune and Tullich farms. We walked back along the road to Doune and took field gates to go around the farm. We picked up an atv track and then path that took us to the summit. We went on to Doune Hill and reascended Doune Hill East Top and followed the atv track/path to Douneand then the road to the car. 10th Hill of 14 today on an a horseshoe of the Luss Hills from the Alderdale B&B in Luss, climbing Cruach Dubh, Beinn Ruisg, Creag an Leinibh, Balcnock, Beinn Tharsuinn, Beinn Chaorach, Beinn a'Mhainach, Cruach an t-Sidhein and Beinn Lochain then N and then NE to this top. I recorded 746m @ NS29052 97094, close to small cairn. I could hardly stand up, such was the force of the wind and it was here that I saw the 1st and only person of the day, a lone guy climbing up from Bealach an Duin to the trig. I descended to the Beleach an Duin towards Doune Hill East top...Dazingdale03/10/2017

Last hill of a very wet round of the three Luss Grahams. Didn't have the energy to carry the extra water up another 400m to bag Mid Hill. Ended up in rocky ground on SE ridge - not shown on 1:50000 but there is a proper cliff there as well as lots of boulchriswatson30/07/2010

Trig revisit. Fine summit, great views, extending W to Jura. Took in the Graham Top en route. 3rd of the day, set off up stupidly late but being at the summit for the last luminous minutes of the day made up for the interesting misty descent in gathering darkness (thankful for a GPS track to follow back down!).RHW13/12/2009
