O: This is the E summit: looked as high or higher than cairn but background hills higher and some clouds obscuring view. AlanD didn't survey this in 2014 as weather poor.

From layby on east side of Cannich village. 500m E along road, ATV track just east of bridge heads straight up and then through two gates/deer fences onto open ground. Eventually leave track and head north over moorland towards summit ridge.benalder28402/03/2024

Parked at the entrance to Craskie. Last of threeAndrew Simmons23/07/2023
Parked just over bridge (NH 3032 3376) in grounds of Craskie. No one to ask permission (7.15an Saturday) so left note in windscreen - no issues. Path north up side of forest currently very overgrown with high bracken. Going improved at 380mcarole engel08/07/2023
Wasn't comfortable parking at the entrance to Craskie and nearby verge parking looked too narrow and muddy. Found a large gravel area at 296338, from where after the long dry spell it was easy to ford the river and pick up the riverside track to Craskie. The stalkers path through the heather and bracken is rather overgrown, so left it at the 280m contour and headed NE towards the Craskie Burn, finding an easy spot to squeeze through the fence. Hints of a path to the col north of point 638, then easy going up the attractive west ridge to the summit. Retraced steps.Owen B23/06/2023

From bridge east of Cannich Bridge traffic lights opposite Highland Retreats campsite. ATV track just east of bridge heads straight up – follow fenceline to gate then another ATV track to open gate through 2nd deer fence. Keep following ATV track and choose yr moment to break north towards summit. You can explore around on easy ground as much as you like. Sunny day, fantastic views in all directions inc Ben Nevis, Cairngorms, Kessock Bridge. With Rhona, Struie & Hoy.DampandDusty26/02/2023

From Glen Strathfarrar, Pollcherian Bridge, good track becomes path through lovely pines. I took the fork south towards A' Mhaol indicated by wooden arrowed sign over the burn. Bridge over Allt Coire nam Brathan has gone but OK crossing place about 100m upstream, knee deep wade after heavy rain. Path joins ATV track, crosses shallower ford, then another ford. Left ATV track to cross Allt Coire Coille Leacainn, good deer track up through last trees, then OK going across open moor to cross to E of burn just below lochan. Up A' Mhaol, getting rougher as it steepens of course, then to Carn Gorm. A few yards of pleasant going near the top. Good views.Gill03/10/2022

Beautiful lead up through Caledonian forest. Once into open ground skirted round the bog staying close to the deer fence. Perfect view at the top but rain struck so for shelter used bothy bag - which was entertaining! followed round circuit returning down to forest. With Gmac xelizyanne26/09/2021

From Craskie, went round to the west, onto track, round back of house and up side of burn. Note - house is offering Glamping pods, perhaps not so worried about passing walkers. Up to Cnoc na Moine, over deer fence, no gates or stiles anywhere, and onto atv track for about 1k. Easier going than the return close to the forest. Overcast and cold, windy, good views.iangalbraith19/04/2021

Part of a round of the Carn Gorm Simms from Glen Stathfarrar. Limited parking just beyond the footbridge at NH3302539650 which is well hidden from the road. The tracks marked on the map are helpful in places but completely indistinct for much of the time.BaggerGutt26/07/2020
