Drove in from NC 7023 4140 (good surface, no gate, no signs) parking at NC 7105 3654 (by derelict caravan). Atv opposite, marked by yellow topped post. This and deer trods all way to top - very easy, pleasant walking. From here, NW along ridge to forest break at NC 70962 35772 followed by short traverse thru'open wood with much low, easy to negotiate windfall on intermittent deer trods. Felled forest and moor to Cnoc bad an Leathaid. Descent NE to pickup very obvious un-mapped, raised, graded, wide path (too narrow for vehicles) which ended abruptly at NC 7072.Left down grassy firebreak with atv to mapped track at NC 7068 3646 (and very strangely, the start of the graded path) | carole engel | 03/09/2023 |
