| From layby at corner of Loch Dughaill. Steep rough climb to the beallach (largely by deer fence then to summit of Ben Shieldaig, on to NW top (camped near here). | After An Staonach in the morning drove to Loch Dughaill and parked at layby 828511. Steeply up on rough ground, meeting the deer fence at 300m which helped on further steep terrain.
