The table below shows for each of the hill lists how many hills have had a grid reference recorded using a GPS receiver where
the summit/top has been accepted.
Where the summit/top is accepted then the database will give an "averaged" 10 figure grid reference from the recordings. Where grid
references have been recorded but the summit is not accepted, this indicates some uncertainty as to whether the point recorded was the summit -
either further corroborative recordings or a visit using levelling equipment (e.g. Abney level) is required to verify the summit.
