Free CP Poolewe NG858808 (voluntary donation). Bike on tarmac to NG 8710 7899, continuing on good track to Kernsary after which it is too rough to cycle. Mapped path from NG 8834 7883 to bealach between Meall Chnaimhean and Spidean nan Clach - both easy walking mainly on grass - path continuing in direction of Beinn Airigh Charrcarole engel11/09/2023
W Malky and Jackie after Meall Mheinnidh, with a camping pack. Morton's bad at end of day only. Picked up bikes we left near Kernsary. Rounsfell23/07/2023
With Jon and John on foot from Poolewe. ALong track towards Kernsary but cut off along the faint boggy path just past Loch an Doire Chairbh to cut out a few k of walking via Kernsary itself. Just before a sheepfold by main track, we took a stalkers path East and then up into Coire nan Dearcag. From there up to corbitt summit(s) - did not bother with Spidean nan Clach. Had lunch on summit with incredible views all around us, then descended and returned out via the inward route. Total time: 6h 7min.mproudfoot13/05/2023

Biked it with CM from Poolewe to 883788. Decent path to main track before ascending near stone sheep fanks. Good path most of the way. Cloud at 1800 feet so saw little. Just under 16 miles.bolton18/07/2021
A 3-day bivibag round from junction of Beinn Airigh Charr path and access track. DAY 1: a straightforward day, good path to base of first three tops; Meall Chnaimhean (Gt); Spidean nan Clach(Gt); Beinn Airigh Charr(C); then a big drop down and re-ascent of Meall Mheinnidh(G) and dropped down to bivi spot.dickscroop28/06/2021
Route exactly as described by Campbell Singer. Wild goats, ring ouzels but no ptarmigan. Stunning viewpoint.iangalbraith18/06/2021
From Poolewe as a day walk; early start to beat the rain that never came; hill to ourselves and stunning viewsRockdoctor10/05/2021
A long hike in from the road-end south of Poolewe, via Inveran, Kernsary and Coire nan Dearcag to the summit, returning the same way. 26km.Man of Kernow108/11/2019
Long walk in from Poolewe on a warm, cloudless day. Generally excellent tracks and stalkers path, only petering out near the top. Could have done with a mountain bike. N.B. I emailed Letterewe Estate as it's stalking season, but they said no stalking takes place on weekend days, but to avoid weekdays for the two Corbetts and one Graham behind Letterewe House.Owen B25/08/2019

Up the track and excellent stalker's path from Poolewe.davidpettit8429/05/2019
With M, from Poolewe. Failed to get to Fhionn Loch the previous day to climb the other two Corbetts, due to torrential rain, river impassable and bridge broken. Camped and climbed BAC on way back, on clear dry day.douglas_easton27/05/2019
During an iffy weather week in Gairloch. Forecast for cloudbase to rise to 900m by lunchtime, so set off with J, Shaky & Smithy from the car park at Poolewe following the usual route described in the SMC guide including the shortcut path cutting out Kernsary. The cloud stubbornly refused to lift beyond 500m, so wasted a fine summit on an inaccurate weather forecast. Walked back by the same route - very fine views once out of the mist & the walk back along Loch Maree & the River Ewe was a delight with rhododendrons in full bloom & all sorts of birds to spot.NotReallyABagger20/05/2019
Cycled from Poolewe past Kernsary to trackside cairn near top of track above Loch Maree, then path up to 570m.Topographer5729/04/2019

From Poolewe. Final Corbett. Delightful cycle ride in and tzhen up good stalkers' path to beallach. Superb summit with celebration with Anne and Eric. Two ptarmigan gave an impromptu aerial display by flying repeatedly around the summit. Superb cliffs to the east.Campbell Singer21/05/2017
Lovely stroll in from Poolewe;did two other adjacent hills.MichaelF18/05/2017
Final peak of the day. Reached by descending steep, craggy slopes of Meall Mheinnidh. Made the ascent via the easy SE corrie to the summit. Again quality views from the summit. Descended back towards Letterewe for the boat via the south ridge.bowlesy17/05/2017

Very cloudy day and ascent with Geoff &Caroline. Long walk in, but easy climb up and clear summit.Mountainhikes07/04/2015
With Rod and Grant from Poolewe - misty day but got views to Fionn Loch, Loch Maree and coast from summit. Fisherfield was well shrouded. Cracking hill - well worth the walk on decent paths most of the way.SS20/06/2014

This may be one of my best Corbett's, lovely views all round, bike in did the round in 5hrs,Nozzer15/06/2014
Trig revisit: remains of a stonebuilt and a vanessa. Late pm/evening circuit from Poolewe, included the 2 Graham Tops, also 3 smaller P30m summits on the way down, which were good fun ... and boggy. At end of track I met a German couple who'd cycled in and were just starting up. Never saw them again - hope they made it out OK.RHW12/06/2014
Walked out from Carnmore to Poolewe leaving 5am. Took in the Corbett. Thicker mist than before so dropped into bealach before recrossing ridge to pick up camping gear. 6 hours.alexmaclennan11/05/2014
W Jenx on walkout from Carnmore after 4 day trip bagging all Corbetts and Graham's. From bridge on SE side up steep coire line to brilliant viewpoint. Descent over minor tops and back the hard way to Poolewe.nordicstar24/09/2013

Climbed on an incredibly sunny day in April. The walk in took an hour either way, and the ascent was enjoyable with Spidean nan Clach above. This is a hill with such character, and incredible views.Kevin2903517/04/2008
Quite a walk from Poolewe, via Kernsary and Altt na Creige. Struck off up the hill, over Spidean nan Clach, then Airigh Charr. Broken off vanessa type trig and cairn at top. Magnificent views of remote hills in the hinterland.Aye Jimmy10/06/2006
