| With Jon and John on foot from Poolewe. ALong track towards Kernsary but cut off along the faint boggy path just past Loch an Doire Chairbh to cut out a few k of walking via Kernsary itself. Just before a sheepfold by main track, we took a stalkers path East and then up into Coire nan Dearcag. From there up to corbitt summit(s) - did not bother with Spidean nan Clach. | During an iffy weather week in Gairloch. Forecast for cloudbase to rise to 900m by lunchtime, so set off with J, Shaky & Smithy from the car park at Poolewe following the usual route described in the SMC guide including the shortcut path cutting out Kernsary. The cloud stubbornly refused to lift beyond 500m, so wasted a fine summit on an inaccurate weather forecast.
