From Badintagairt. Plenty of off road parking. No sign of a path other than deer tracks, and very boggy, but easy ascent.govanah23/03/2024

As willyross. Poured on the way up, dry but sodden underfoot on return.iangalbraith14/10/2022
From Balintaigart, up the river edge onto open hill. Easy going quite dry and great viewsN.Morters16/04/2022
Parked at Badintagairt. Although there was a gate into new community woodland, we did not know if there would be a gate at top end, so we stayed outside deer fence on its North side, and followed deer tracks past end of fence zone, then across reasonably easy moorland to top.willyross21/03/2022
Parked in passing place (to one end) NC 4265 1043. Very good deer trod NC 42604 10479 to first deer fence (NC434112 210m). Over into rough ground and sparse planting to second deer fence (NC438113 270m) after which , easy grasscarole engel09/09/2021
Got turned away from Beinn an Eoin because of stalking...so, this hill only. Went up through the newly planted area, a gate gives access. Wet ATV track heads up towards the mast but no gate, so climbed the deer fence. Easy enough ground to the top. Down towards the Alltan Leachach, then following the outside of the fence down (boggy ATV track lower down), then over the stream to follow clear animal tracks and bits of ATV track.Gill19/09/2020
After Beinn an Eoin in the morning changed my wet boots and climbed up through the very soft area where new trees are planted. Easier further up.NormanW22/07/2020

From Badtaggart. Dry ground short vegetation and light footwear meant an easy ascent. What a difference a dry summer makes.Topographer5717/07/2018
Up via the boggy track from Badintagairt, down similar but with detour into the wood. The gorge is much deeper than you expect and the waterfalls are excellent.IainT26/06/2018
From roadside parking at Badintagairt. I tried to follow the path shown on my map going up near the brook. It does not exist. I notice that the more recent map does not show it.Alan Moore31/05/2018
After Beinn an Eoin. Up beside forest and aimed for mast then direct for summit, again helped by frozen ground and snow. Very good views. back slightly more direct.Coinneach18/03/2018

From Badintagairt went over the bridge then first track to gain height. Went to join the 4x4 lines leading to antennae, but found them very wet. Difficult plod and third Green pudding of the day taxed energy. Glad to get back down.nordicstar24/07/2016
Another squelchy hill, but Region 16 finished. Hurrah.jenx24/07/2016

Circuit from Badintagairt. Being Sgeireach, Ben Screavie, W Top & Langwell Hill. Moist underfoot but more interesting than the 50K map might suggest.jimbloomer14/05/2015

Wreckless Skerrick, a straight up and down on a hot but squelchy day. Good views. Shame about wind power station to the east.Martin R30/05/2014
Parked at Badintagairt in Glen Cassley (NC 428103). Did this one after completing Beinn an Eoin. Followed the line of the stalkers path (more like a drain than a path, where it existed at all) up to NC 438103 and then headed straight for the top, passing a new wind-monitoring tower on the way - looks like more wind turbines on the way!martin_hall30/03/2013

Boggy all the way up and all the way down. Still, a fun afternoon with Ian and Roddy!Gebirgsjaeger24/09/2011

Climbed during a stay at a cottage in Glencassley, nr Rosehall.Man of Kernow106/05/2009
Park at Badintagairt. On road, over bridge, up by stream. After a mile no further traces of paths indicated on the map. Plod over wet moor with swamp, heather boulders and deer tracks, but few human. Steeply at end and around to back of peak and top at 12.00. Column with no FB was built on a raised stone platform.arranc22/07/2008
Revisit. Grass & rock summit, fine view. From SW, Badintagart, then took in Yeaman summit to NNW on the way back. Caught by a brief shower.RHW04/05/2008
