I have reached the ridge now 4 times, previously in May [with David Noble] and July [with K] 1997, but not reached the actual summit.2007 was the nearest. This time reached the same place, but the weather was awful, so gave up.IanHHill13/07/2019
Finally reached the summit, atmospheric conditions with clouds above the summit, rain held off til late on ascent.RobertP10/07/2019

On club weekend, poor weather, climb with FraserJamesSDonald07/10/2017
Having backed away from the tough scramble at the top in 1994, I employed Paul Tattersall to guide me safely to the true summit with ropes. Thoroughly recommended. Was supposed to be showery and windy, but stayed dry and mild with only a light to moderate breeze, so spent plenty of time at the top soaking up the awesome views. Was fun to traverse from the east to west summits then down a steep gully to get off. Great short day.Owen B29/09/2017
Dik and I had a great afternoon scrambling about on Stac Pollaidh, and like many, stopped at The Tower, but I hope to return there one day and conquer the west summit.Lou28/09/2017
