Last of 4 on a trip organised by Steve Gillons and ably crewed by Seaprobe Atlantis from Kyleakin. Landed on pontoon to SSW and steep slog up side of fence followed by gentler stuff when you can see lots of lochans and big viewsThearlaichdubh29/05/2023

From Luib to Corran a'Chinn Uachdaraich by kayak. Then SE along track to edge of forest at Allt na Criche, through gate, then steeply up along fence and directly to summit. This avoided crossing any deer fences. Vegetation is awkward lower down, but becomes easier higher up.Winterfloodian10/09/2020
Friendly estate boatman took me across after I had made contact with the estate. Continued across to Beinn Loch a'Mhuilinn. Great sighting of a white-tailed sea eagle.PGCE31/07/2019

Excellently arranged by Gill. Small boat across narrows and directly to the summit with others. Great views.NormanW19/05/2019
We made it...despite the Kyleakin boat breaking down. We were very lucky that Moira was able to contact Nick from the Scalpay estate and that Nick was able to ferry 10 of us over, 3 or 4 at a time in the little boat. We landed on the beach between Sgeir Stapaig and Rubha na h-Uamha Duibhe, and then an excellent easy way up the side of the forestry fence on good deer tracks. The top fence is derelict and easy to step over. Easy ground to Bealach Ban and then all easy going to the top. Fine views.Gill19/05/2019
Great day after Nick the estate worker took us across from just east of Corran House. With Gill, Norman and Chris M in first crossing. 10 of us in total. An easy route straight up to the left of the fence then a easy walk to the summit.bolton19/05/2019
Boat across the Narrows & straight up to top. Nick, from Scalpay Estate, took us across and back. With Gill, Norman & Phil M. Great weather.CJM19/05/2019
One of 10 on the trip organised by Gill. Turned out the estate worker's boat was probably the best option. A great route up and a day for the lower hills since the cloud level was c 700m. Nice and dry underfoot and easily up and down in 2 hrs.AndrewFinnimore19/05/2019
With Reg, the last landing on Gill's trip. Extensive views from the summit. 2 hrs 30 min.Jim.Fothergill19/05/2019

On the RIB trip organised by Tony Smith, plus Tricky, Jenx, Jon Whitehead and a few of Tony's Montrose climbing pals. Landed by Island owner at main pier, followed forest tracks to lochan and the grand wee lodge. Took in the Hump above then the Tump en route for Mullach na Carn. Nice bolt rivet by cairn. Little dreek on top but fine on return. A deer enclosure to get through but ok. Nice regeneration going on inside these of birch/scots pine/ash mixtures.nordicstar13/06/2015

Solo from Beinn nan Caorach. Rough tussocky boggy ground. Initially SW then NW to avoid direct and steep approach. Trig bolt found in rock by cairn. Steep descent for the next hill, Beinn Chairn.jonglew19/05/2015
