Parking at road junc to SE (NM 5259 6652). Beinn an Leathaid first then a direct line across to here. On to Meall Meadhoin and picked up MnC South Top (sub-tump - 403m spot height) on the return.jonglew27/03/2023

Parked off the Fascadale Road (not far from the only house that looks up at Cathair Mhic Dhiarmaid (an impressive grassy hill with a steep rocky scree near the top) - Found our way through a gap and flanked round the hill half way up. Our goal Meall Na Con appears in the distance (highest point on an old volcano rim). Summit and trig bagged we also bag the summit of Cathair Mhic Dhiarmaid as we return. Not so easy to find way back down very steep in places, slowly does it.briandavies30/04/2019

An easy walk from the parking on grass next to the forestry track, out across the grassy moor, mainly on an ATV track. All bogs bone dry. Not as interesting as Beinn na Seilg, but the views are just as good.Gill04/06/2018

Drove from Strontian past rough heathery hills to open grassy hills- the change of scenery marks the site of a great volcano. Pleasant 2h out and back from pt 152 on the B8007 in good wandering country. The other groupon the hill were having a good stravaig. Good view of Golden Eagle from summit.pwheeler18/05/2013
