Three bridges route as others, wet horrid day....hils31/07/2023
From 3 bridges. Nice top. Then on to Cruach na Gearr choise.Adrian09/09/2022
From Three Bridges. With Cruach Mhor South Top, Beinn Bhreac, Garbh Achadh, Sron Reithe & Balantyre Hill.duchally17/01/2022
Mullach nam Maol (537m), Mullach nam Maol N Top (536m), over point 539m, then up to the rocky summit. Quite a spectacular hill arising from the surrounding peat bog. Solo.Dangerous Dave17/08/2021
Took NormanW's route from Three Bridges. parked just inside the first gate, which is a 4-way junction, but plenty of parking space. Walked through the plantation along a continuation of the track then ATV track, popping out half way up Creag Dhubh. Headed WNW to An Creachan, then followed the ridge line to the top of Creag Dhubh, Cruach Mhor's south top, then the Marilyn proper. Contoured back round the south top to rejoin the ATV track down.summitter29/08/2020

From Beinn Bhreac and then down to the B840. There is a road from the forest road at NN 01497 13753 to a weir at NN 02239 13063. This is not shown on my 2016 1:50,000 map and could be useful for anyone coming from the WSW. Misty on top so the slab was greasy; however, it was still doable.Alan Moore13/02/2019
Stronmagachan approach - more or less Gill's route - (Note, Point 555 is a Dodd). What a superb rocky summit - a lovely slab provides a 'groovy' ascent. A fine summit like this is indeed a reward for hill bagging. Excellent summit views which includes the secretive Lochan Dubh.ger25/07/2018

Parked in small layby N of track to Stronmagachan. Head up through fields with gates then NW to summit. Easy walking. Go back same way, don't be tempted to take direct line back (like I did!) cos you'll end up in boggy tussocky morass with deer fences to climb.AndrewFinnimore02/03/2017
From Stronmagachan, rather a nice walk. Reasonably dry going by heading SW from the farm, round pt 518, then over pt 555 to the top. Nice views along Loch Awe, and across Loch Fyne. We beat the gales and heavy rain blowing in from the west by scuttling down a gully to the south of Creag na Criche.Gill20/12/2016
From Three Bridges, up the Tilhill road. ATV grassy track from 07223 12622 which exits the forest at 06543 12998.NormanW06/12/2016
From Three Bridges. Use of new forest tracks to gain height round houses, then up the obvious stream onto open hillside. On false summit until the rock capped top can be seen. Continued to Beinn Bhreac over short grass and easy going, albeit long, moorland tramp. Pair of white tailed sea eagles cartwheeling in the sky overhead and great views to Cruachan/ B.Lui to the north.N.Morters18/06/2016
Drove up from Three Bridges to 072127, no evident objection. Then quad tracks up east bank of burn to Creag Dhubh. Thereafter short grass.Topographer5706/05/2016
From 3 bridges track. Up prominent stream line and across the minor tops to nice craggy summit. Pleasantly easy going.jenx14/04/2016
New track from Three Bridges w Jenx. Takes you right up into forest area, now cleared and replanted. Burn line from GR066124 is clear of any tree work and ATV track leads to old deer fence easily crossed then over the tops on ridge to main craggy top. A fine large hill.nordicstar14/04/2016
Up & down long ridge to NE. Interesting complex ground.PeteN12/07/2015
round of cruach mhor and beinn bhreac from A819 track at three bridges.robertphillips19/04/2015
came in from W at Baillemeanoch. Some parking. landrover track to reservoir. round bank to trees then headed East up pleasant slopes. Good views but windfarm to W. On way down much easier to spot ways through peat hags. pleasant walk. then bheinn bhanThearlaichdubh30/09/2013
From Drimfern. First headed for the minor top with a trigpoint on it. Disturbed a fox sat by the summit cairn. Good all round view - shame about wind power stations. Easy terrain to walk on. Sunny.Martin R22/03/2012

Mixed weather, long showers, then dry, sunny. Good summit views.iangalbraith13/05/2007
On my Mull of Kintyre to Fraserburgh walkBLACKHILL08/05/2007
Parked at access to Stronmagachan. Up to a farm, through gate and sheep pasture. Wonderfully dry underfoot all the way. Skylarks. Uphill on rim of large bowl with RP in view most of way. Buggy tracks crossed one large stream and a sharp dip 1m from top. Small crags needed use of knees to clamber up. Ground hard with frost. To top at 12.30. Very pleasant hill. Loch Fyne, Loch Awe (3 sections), Paps, Ben More, B Ghlas, Cruachan, Lochan Dubh, Dothaidh, Lui, Buidhe and Ime.arranc04/04/2006
