#10 of 13 from end of public road. Revisit in passing | RHW | 07/04/2022 |
With Dave Roeder. Parked at the end of the public road (10:30) and walked about 4k NNW as far as a shed. An ATV track led just W of Beul Leathad to the col at 690977. Proceeded NW across trackless ground in cloud, wind and rain past the trig point to the summit nearly 1k beyond. Returned by the same route, finishing 15:05. Not the most enjoyable expedition! | dbb | 05/04/2022 |
As others parked at road end then track to hut. ATV track up to final rise, trig point first. Stunning weather and views to Scarba and Mull | N.Morters | 02/04/2022 |
From road end car park to the shed, as others, then the ATV track, good at first, tussocky after the left fork. Peters out below the trig, then decent deer tracks take you through the tussocks on the plateau and around the central bump to the top. Fine views of Scarba, Mull, Mainland. | Gill | 30/03/2022 |
Across easy ground from the trig point on SE Top. With Gavin. | Dangerous Dave | 31/07/2021 |
Cycled from road end to hut at 688960 then 8WD tracks then deer tracks left of trigpoint. Descended over the trigpoint, probably the best way. Splendid archipelago viewpoint, especially north to Scarba. | Topographer57 | 17/09/2019 |
With Bolton & CJM. From road end along good track to shed, then ATV track which by passes the Tump to W. Visited Beul Leathad (two close together summit mounds - took grid ref NR6923797072 on what seemed to be higher mound. On to Cruach na Seilcheig SE top, then the main top. Superb situation on Jura's most northerly Ma. | ger | 12/09/2019 |
From the car park at 670930. Left the Barnhill track at the quad shed (688959).Beul Leathad, trig point and then to the summit with CM and Ger. Started in drizzle but gradually cleared and finished in glorious sunny weather. Just under 10 miles. | bolton | 12/09/2019 |
From the road end on foot, no bike. Over Beul Leathad then the old GR with the trig and finally the main summit. Dry underfoot but still a fairly strenuous walk. | NormanW | 23/04/2019 |
From the road end. Excellent track, then tough going through long grass north, then faint paths to the true summit. Annoyingly some bits of cloud obscuring the best views. | Owen B | 22/08/2018 |

Probably the best of the Marilyns in the northern half of Jura. | PGCE | 26/04/2018 |
9th hill of 13 today on a tough exploration of Jura's Northern hills, climbing Ton Com, Beul Leathad, Bhionn Bhiorgaig, Maol nan Damh, An Cruachan, Cruach Glen Trosdale & North top then after exploring the headland and Glen Trosdale bay i climbed upto Beinn nan Capull and over to this top. Hill flanks and tops easier-going but lower land in between is tediously tough tormenting tussocky terrain. | Dazingdale | 05/06/2017 |
cycled to the bothy from end of road atv tracks to the top, went to trig as well. my 1000th marilyn. | robertphillips | 20/09/2015 |

in mist, using compass and GPS found this lump looming in the mist 13.30. A few stones made a tiny cairn almost completely hidden in heather. | arranc | 04/05/2009 |
