Final hill of a tough day, taxi back to the car. | colinfielding | 09/05/2023 |
Parked in the lay-by about 1/4 mile east of the hydro track. Followed the hydro to the small dam. From there headed up to the col between Meall Garbh and Meall Greigh. I did an out and back to the summit of Meall Greigh. It was a bit boggy and the summit was in the clag. Then up Meall Garbh to the summit cairn again in mist and quite windy although it was dry. I was slightly wary of the ascent up An Stuc but it was very easy. The hardest part was the descent to the Lochan as with all the rain it was extremely slippery so had to take it steady. In dry conditions it would not have been a problem. Path from Lochan to the small dam at the end of the hydro was very boggy. Time 7 hours 15 minutes for 17 miles. | isabelle | 25/10/2022 |

A trio of munros, Meall Greigh, Meall Garbh and An Stuc. Parked for free at Tombreck and walked up the pipeline track before completing the standard loop. Clear summits and very scenic walking throughout. Solo. | meltdiceburg | 24/08/2022 |

Solo anti-clockwise round of Meall Greigh, Meall Garbh and An Stùc (how is that last one even a munro?) from Lawers Hotel. Arrived at the hotel early and popped the fee into the box, then set off down the road. The route up from the bone carver up through the forest and then up beside Lawers burn was quite pleasant, and a good warm up for the ascent up Sròn Mhòr and onto Meall Greigh. Took some sunrise photos and moved onto Meall Garbh - the re-ascent was fairly short - passed someone in a bivvy on the summit. Ascent up An Stuc wasn't as bad as it appeared - barely needed to use my hands, and the descent down the lochan also fine. Got back to the car a sweaty mess, but quite satisfied - total time 5h 17min | mproudfoot | 11/07/2022 |
Set of from Lawers and took a cross country approach involving crossing a burn, scrambling up the other side and then jumping a deer fence. Once we found the path it was a fairly simple walk to the summit cairn. | JAdair97 | 28/05/2022 |
Meall Greich & Garbh circuit from Lawers Hotel. | thekirkie pirate | 25/04/2022 |
From Ben Lawers NTS CP. Anticlockwise circuit of the Ben Lawers ridge. Heading for Meall Greigh was a slog until picking up the good track at the dam at NN6421 3795. | welshyboyo | 27/03/2022 |

Supposed to first of Lawers 7 traverse but realised that hadn’t regained enough strength to do this with full pack. Will return for the rest in time! | Ajm0310 | 13/07/2021 |
7 munros of Ben Lawers range. Started at Lochan na Lairige, ended at Ben Lawers hotel | hummusg | 17/06/2021 |
A fine traverse of the Ben Lawers ridge from west to east, starting from the NTS car park. Visited Beinn Ghlas, Ben Lawers, Creag an Fhithich, An Stuc, Meall Garbh, and Meall Greigh. As I was solo with just the one vehicle, I had to return along the access road for the water intakes and then traverse across open country under Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas. 25km with 1600m of ascent in 9 hours. Ran all Seven lawyers Munros with Jan | Grimpeur1234 | 13/06/2020 |
Climbed with Meall Garbh (1123m) accessed from the Ben Lawers Hotel. I tend to avoid hiking on my own in snow, so this was a good confidence builder, the snow has been through for at least two week, but there obviously been a lot of fresh stuff yesterday / last night as it was mainly still soft which the gaiters made easy work of. Dry with great views all day, with some high level cloud, 06:50hrs all in. | chillyman8 | 10/11/2019 |
Beautiful day on the hills. Nice little round of 5 starting at meal greigh and finishing with beinn ghlas. Definitely ones to return to | Nicky C | 28/09/2019 |
Meall Greigh, Meall Garbh and An Stuc. Parked at The Ben Lawers Hotel (£5 unless you buy a meal). Fantastic clear views at Meall Greigh but by the time I'd got to Meall Garbh it was cloudy and drizzly. Bit of a scramble up to An Stuc. It was still wet and cloudy by the time I got to Bealach Dubh so decided not to carry on to Ben Lawers. By the time I got down to Lochan nan Cat (down a very steep path) it was all clear up the top. 8 hours in total. | tsharp | 16/09/2019 |

Easy, rather dull route from Fearnan, enlivened by attractive flowers. There’s a great moment on reaching the summit when the view west opens up. Cool breeze. | Jon F | 26/05/2018 |
From Lawers (Horn Carvers shop) ascended Meall Greigh in bright conditions. A little hailstone on the continuation to Meall Garbh followed by an short but interesting ascent of An Stuc via the north east face. Returned via Lochan nan Cat. | knarf | 10/05/2018 |
