Up and back by the direct route from the main road by the Abhainn Mharaig. Excellent weather and visibility.rjf3530/07/2023
Solo using the direct route from the Clisham Car Park. Had intended to do the horseshoe between the early (Monday) morning ferry from Uig, and the last ferry back to Skye, but wet weather/clag and a bit of Achilles pain meant the direct route made more sense. Very little to see as the cloud was down to about 500m so tapped the top, and returned to the car then went on a mini sight-seeing tour of the island before the last ferry back to Skye. Total walking time 2h 14minmproudfoot10/07/2023
Straight up and down from the parking area by the Abhainn Mharaig. Surprisingly muddy lower down, then a section where the path is very faint but there are small cairns, then a better path past the boulders to the summit. Cloud just on the top, lifted shortly after getting to the trig. Final Corbett.Owen B22/05/2023
During week on Harris with J. From pull in at bridge over Abhainn Mharaig. Took bog/path on L side of burn which continues until heading up the steepening slope. It reappears by a small cairn and gets progressively drier. Fine upper slopes and summit although clag rolled in just after we arrived. Leisurely stroll back the same way during which J managed to slip onto her backside an impressive 5 times.NotReallyABagger15/05/2023
Parked by the Harris walkway for an 0730 start on a bright morning. A good day for a coronation.. Clisham Horseshoe - Tomnabhal - An Cliseam - An t-Isean - Mulla bho Dheas - Mulla bho Thuath - Mullach an Langa - Mo Bhiogadail - Mo Bhiogadail East Top. Didn't see another human until around 1200 when the weather changed (and not for the better!) and the 3 people I met were desperate for the sun to return. A straight line from Tomnabhal to An Cliseam provided a number of challenges particularly the final 100 metres! A good day away from the tv.Buck06/05/2023
MTB from ferry at Tarbert. From layby on main road to summit on foot and back to bike. Return to Tarbert via Maraig gu Urgha track. Excellent MTB route to end the day. Harris out and back in the day.John Lee06/05/2023

Starting and finishing at the millennium woodland carpark next to Scaladale Outdoor Centre we did an anticlockwise traverse of the classic Cliseam horseshoe, adding the Mo Bhiogadail sisters and Tomnabhal as these were the only summits below the cloud base! 7hrs total.summitter08/09/2022
With E. Direct route out and back as detailed in Walk Highlands. Lower ground extremely boggy but ok once climb began. Weather perfect. Stunning views in all directions. Midges out in force when reaching lower ground on return so we just kept moving. No chance of a stop.Beeliner05/09/2022
Direct line straight up from Tomnabhal. Lucky to find a way up onto the ridge between the crags because of the poor visibility in thick cloud. Solo.Dangerous Dave02/09/2022

From Tomnaval working my way from the bealach across the NE face to ascend by the path from the S. Always intended, this route gave shelter from a gale at altitude. I had to work hard to keep my balance on the SE ridge (path) and, like most on the hill today, didn't attempt the horseshoe- which looked wonderful. Managed to find shelter to enjoy the fine summit and very good views of all the Harris mountainspwheeler13/05/2019

With friends on a day trip from Skye. We took the 09:40 ferry from Uig to Tarbert. Walked on the road towards Kyles Scalpay. Near Urgha Beag took the footpath (quite a well made track) going north beside Laxadale Loch. At the head of the glen we went NW across open moor to reach the A859 road. Then to the west of Sron Càrsacleit and to the summit of Clisham. Followed the ridge over a minor top to Mulla-fo-dheas and descended southwards.
