Lovely fine day albeit hazy. We raced up from Fallburn late afternoon. Nice to meet both regular and occasional walkers. With Ikuko.GWR Chris13/05/2019
Fine, cold wind. Cafe good. Direct to summit with a regular pilgrimage of walkers. Descent over Scaut Hill and return to car park by very devious route as described in Terry Marsh book On Foot in Southern Scotland. Goes through “managed” land. Any chance of a bit of way marking to get a sustainable path established and avoid much to ing and fro ing which always feels uncomfortable when one sees the damage caused to fences by “displaced” walkers? Anyway a nice walk with Wack.iredale04/05/2019
