Misty conditions deterred me from the scenic route from Glenmacnass Falls. In stead I climbed up from the Wicklow Gap. 2 hours up and down.IanHHill11/10/2018
Car park above Glenmacnass waterfall - Old Military Road - Carrigshouk - Mullaghclauveen E - Mullaghclauveen - Stoney Top - Tonelagee - Tonelagee NE - return. Climbed solo. Good weather, sun and cloud. Some showers around but they missed me. A excellent round through some wild country. The middle section from Mullaghclauveen to Stoney Top had some very challenging terrain with few paths and several km of peat hags. Views extensive. Heart-shaped Lough Ouler below Tonelagee is beautiful. Time 5.5 hours.jamessteel10008/08/2017

THis was the best feelign in the world, to hit this point. I thought I was never getting there having had 3 falls and hurt my shoulder at about 560M on the way up. I suddenly got a burst of energy and headed over to Stoney Top and to get some beautiful pics of Lough Ouler :)Lizzie Murray25/05/2012
