Arrived in Rosslare on the early morning ferry and after a brief stop for breakfast, headed straight for the hills. The weather was kind & I had an enjoyable day in the Knockmealdowns, an area that I hadn't explored before! Great to be home :-)Gerry the Ranger28/11/2019
We started from the carpark where the R668 meets the R669 and went straight up the side of Knockealdown. We followed the path to the Sugar Loaf Hill and down the steep stoney path to the carpark at up past the Vee and little lake. We didn't feel like walking the road but we had to get to the car. A kind man who passed us, actually turned his car around emptied stuff into his boot and made room for us. We had walked 2 of the 4 kms but it was greatly appreciated.Audi-Anne13/08/2016
