4/5. From high point of Maum Bridge to Maum Cross road. Maum Turks range to Leenane. Cloud down to 250m all day, so a severe test of map and compass skills. Final quarter easier as you can follow the fences. 12 hours.PGCE23/05/2017

fa, with wife, clear & sunny, 11.1 miles, from minor road, towawausa, maumatioge then steeply to knocknahillion, through some crags and a nice ridge to maumean to letterbreckaun, descended rough ground & climbed to binn bhriocain ne top, descended steeply, then a step (steep) into mam tuirc, steep grass slope up to aridge, then out to binn than summit, descended by sruffaunduff river to western way and back to car.rum doodle 12/07/2008
