With Rob walking from Druimvaic a steep start up a track striking up a relentless lumpy ridge into mist. Summit characterised by a major cairn. A long descent with an escape traverse brought us back to car. 16 Km and 1400 m of ascent.david.walker4016/04/2023

Spent the weekend at the Ochils Mountaineering Club cottage in Crianlarich. Saturday 28/08/21, I headed round to Loch Creran to bag the Munro of Beinn Sgulaird (937m). There was thick mist at sea level, but I was above this at around 200m. The mist lifted a bit during the day, but it still blocked any views of the sea, with Ben More on Mull, sticking above the mist. 06:50hrs all in.chillyman828/08/2021
Even hotter than Beinn Challum was yesterday- no wind at all and no cloud, roasting temperatures! End of the line for Raichle Mids too - RIP. Thankfully could tell the soles were on the way out so had scarpa boots in rucksack…jonbowyer26/08/2021
