Followed the GW from the NW, which enters the golf course and skirts around a few holes until due north of the summit. Great course - may come back with the clubs one day. In the meantime found three stray balls to lose later this week.summitter28/05/2022

a WWW (we welcome walkers). Drove up to clubhouse (interesting in camper, especially meeting car coming down narrow steep road!!!) on Monday when staff are off - no bar or cafe. Go round first hill (anticlockwise) and then follow ridge. As I was going up, a greenkeeper coming down in buggy came across and was fully welcoming. The 18th is not for the faint-hearted - as you come down, take a look at the last tee before descending - across a col to the lower hill and then up it. A snorter of a final hole!henryfm16/09/2019

Up through beautiful estate and well marked. Felt slightly surreal as I neared the top sweating, puffing and panting to hear voices and “whack” as we passed folk playing a sedate game of golf.elizyanne01/08/2019
