There isn’t a CP at the nature reserve, just narrow verge parking, SO011969, and difficult turning at the road end. Initial RoW, NW, between the llyns, was a mudfest | Isbjorn | 05/02/2024 |
Parked at start of track, followed right of way then veered up to a higher, better track along the ridge. | iangalbraith | 15/08/2023 |

Solo from verge near Llyn Mawr. After a heavy shower stopped I made a quick ascent but apparent no further rain imminent so leisurely exploration of summit crags. Landrover with solar panel and aerial still in situ near to summit. | Nick Canute | 23/08/2022 |
Gmac parked van near the right of way. One and a half kilometre easy climb to the summit. Interesting rock formation on was up. Almost like a cart track marked on either side. | elizyanne | 05/07/2022 |

Parking to the east on the road by Newhouse. Bridleway and field track to stile on ridge to Access Land. Beautiful ridge! High point north of trig by car! Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 27/05/2022 |
As Peterb car with IT mast still there. Easy walking 2.6 miles round trip, 1hr, hardly any climbing but a really nice ridge. | JulieB | 25/05/2022 |

I parked just off the road at 012 972 where there is room for 3 cars and then followed the farm trackand path to the knobbly summit. Fine far reaching views though I was surprised to see a vehicle with IT mast by the summit. | Peterb | 23/10/2021 |

I enjoyed this hill apart from the horribly muddy start , the track having had monsoon conditions and much farm traffic. Visited the trig on the way to the high point. It was wet . | NormanW | 13/03/2020 |
From SE near Newhouse, bisecting the 2 Llyn’s via farm track then path to trig and summit just beyond. | N.Morters | 17/01/2020 |

Fine spell of very early spring weather so I just had to take a day off and head up into the hills. Lovely area too to find some much needed peace and quiet. | Alex C | 26/02/2019 |

Parked 012968 on side of road opposite gate to start walk up between lakes. Followed path to gate, mistakingly ended up on wrong side of fence but corrected on the way back down. Super windy at the top! Awesome views. | Hippy77 | 28/07/2018 |

Like others, from the Llyn Fawr NR car park. I took the bridleway to the N of the lake, over the fence at the start of the access land, then HP and trig. Almost trod on a fox- well startled- asleep or just sheltering in the sedges from the cold wind. Then back down the ridge and S of lake. Good access/ ROWs and an enjoyable hill. | pwheeler | 05/02/2018 |
A nice walk by the usual route between the two lakes, the view sadly spoiled by a lump of grit in my eye. | Gill | 02/11/2017 |
