From the car park at a rather flooded Llangorse Lake, NW approach to Mynydd Troed onto N ridge to the trig. Pleasant walk along the SE ridge before dropping down to cross the valley at Blaenau-draw and up onto Mynydd Llangorse, visiting trig and hp, before dropping down again to the Three Rivers Ride and back to the car park. Cold windy NYD. With Gillian | richard69 | 01/01/2023 |
Parked at small parking area between mynydd Troed and llangorse, up NE to Troed summit then SE along ridge and back down to road, W along road then steep up to Llangorse summit, N along ridge and back down to start | Tribal2er | 23/11/2022 |

From the pass after Mynydd Troed. Parked at the pass. Took obvious path straight up to the summit. Descended on the path over the summit that heads WSW, then followed paths contouring around back to the pass then straight up Mynydd Langorse along the ridge to the summit, then continued along to the trig. Reversed route back to a big cairn, took the path left that leads down to the Three Rivers Ride and back to the pass. 4.8 miles, under 2.5hrs round trip. | JulieB | 21/03/2022 |

From Bwlch after Mynydd Troed. MT is the finer hill, this the finer walk; a panorama of Mid-Wales for company. It's like being on the moon at the moment, warm in the sun but instantly cold in shade. | Wycombe Wanderer | 14/01/2022 |
Solo from Llangors. 5.2 miles 998 ft elevation. | nell1583 | 06/06/2021 |
Parked on Cockit hill between the peaks and bagged both. With Neil. | Stevooo | 04/06/2021 |
Mynydd Llangors and Mynydd Troed. Starting from Bwlch and then loop back by River ride path. Lovely views and very steep climb up to Mynydd Troed | benwloudon | 02/05/2021 |
Strategically placed boulders make parking at anywhere other than discourteously in the passing place on the bwlch very challenging, but possible, (passenger helpful) SO161283. Route obvious. | Isbjorn | 16/04/2021 |
Part of a 17km circular hike starting from Bwlch. Also incorporated a loop around Llangorse lake and a summit of Allt yr Esgair. Enjoyable afternoon :-) | Gerry the Ranger | 03/09/2020 |

Mynydd Llangors and Mynydd Troed from the summit of the pass at SO 160 283,very limited parking due to large boulders preventing off road vehicles ripping up the lovely mountain paths. Walked right across Mynydd Llangors to the trig, then back to the pass and up the steep slope to the trig at the top of the second highest Dewey of Mynydd Troed. Excellent views on a hot and sunny afternoon. (S) | silveracorn_alan | 19/07/2020 |
From the top of the pass that runs in between Mynydd Tooed and Mynydd Llangorse, three and half miles and a couple of hours for both summits. Parking is limited space for only a couple of cars. | WAYNE ROWLETT | 18/01/2020 |
14.3 miles, 2422ft, Start at Dragons Back car park Mynydd Troed and Mynydd Llangorse walk. | stephenbuda | 18/01/2020 |
P at the bwlch (Cockit hill). Mynydd Troed then Mynydd Llangorse & on to trig to S. | ger | 20/11/2019 |
12 mile walk from Waun Fach hamlet, walked across fields then along track following river all the way to Cwmfforest farm, on way we helped a sheep after it got its horn stuck in a fence. From Cwmfforest the path heading north east doesn't exist, it started quite promisingly with a stile but then the barbed wire fences were across the paths route so cut across to the road up to Rhyd-Y-Car, climbed up onto Pen.Y.Grib, then onto Castell Dinas, great views from both then descended west onto Mynydd Troeds slopes finding a contouring path up to the summit (2nd time bagged), from there walked along ridge to Mynydd Llangorse (2nd time bagged), up to the small pile of stones on summit, from there headed NE east and descended path (doesn't follow route shown on map) through Blaenau-Draw farm back to car. Afterwards drove to and bagged The Begwns. Perfect walking weather; sunny/windy and perfectly clear, could see for miles, saw about 20 people all day. | DanTrig | 01/09/2019 |
From top of pass limited parking. Mynydd Troed and Mynydd Llangorse. | ijpowell | 29/08/2019 |
After Troed. Also visited trig after the high point. | NormanW | 22/07/2019 |
from col then to tp | underhill | 21/07/2019 |
From Cockpit Hill straight up to the trig on Mynydd Treod. Followed path south east along the ridge and down to Blaenau-draw. The bridle way overgrown I descended through the adjacent meadow. Followed paths up to the trig on Mynydd Llangorse, the bridle way shown not apparent. Easy walk along the ridge to bag the top by the wee tarns, then down through the fort to complete my circuit. It would be quicker to dash up and down to both summits, but the loop walk presented lovely varied views. | Pete West | 20/06/2019 |
With Mynydd Troed and Waun Fach after sleeping in van at Cwmdu. Bright sunshine but snell breeze. Ponies. | Rounsfell | 05/05/2019 |
On route of Black Dragon Challenge out of Crickhowell. Not as dramatic as neighbouring Mynydd Troed but a great hill none the less. | richardrosser | 06/04/2019 |
Ascended from col at 160283 in darkness and lowering cloud - wet mist on summit ridge - no difficulties - looks a bit steep from the bottom but isn't | wychwood | 20/02/2019 |
Traverse from Mynedd Troed | DanMaisieBex | 29/12/2018 |
Parked at Cockpit Hill, followed bridleway round western flank until roughly above Gilfach then took a path up the hill to the trig point. Low cloud so views not great. Found actual summit then on the way back along the ridge had a brief glimpse of a sunset. | clyoung | 27/12/2018 |
From high point of road between Mynydds Troed & Llangorse. Summit or thereabouts now has a rather phallic cairn. Took about 50 minutes. Good views. | rogreeves | 23/10/2018 |

From road pass, after Troed. | Topographer57 | 13/08/2018 |
Evening walk from the col to the north with Meg and Xan. Mynydd Troed was alight and smoking away on the other side of the valley. Everything very dry and brown. I cooked pasta bolognaise at the cairn before the summit and we spent a very relaxing hour and a half up there. We slept at the foot of the hill, under the stars and a full moon, a first for the children. A beautiful evening with Pen-y-Fan remaining visible all night and small fires burning on the hill above. Unfortunately, it didn't end too well with both children up all night vomiting! | Herbert Anchovy | 26/07/2018 |
Had to start running at this point as I realised I only had 3 hours left before the bus at Llyswen. | Alex C | 23/06/2018 |
