From the top of the pass that runs in between Mynydd Tooed and Mynydd Llangorse, three and half miles and a couple of hours for both summits. Parking is limited space for only a couple of cars.WAYNE ROWLETT18/01/2020

P at the bwlch (Cockit hill). Mynydd Troed then Mynydd Llangorse & on to trig to S.ger20/11/2019
12 mile walk from Waun Fach hamlet, walked across fields then along track following river all the way to Cwmfforest farm, on way we helped a sheep after it got its horn stuck in a fence. From Cwmfforest the path heading north east doesn't exist, it started quite promisingly with a stile but then the barbed wire fences were across the paths route so cut across to the road up to Rhyd-Y-Car, climbed up onto Pen.Y.Grib, then onto Castell Dinas, great views from both then descended west onto Mynydd Troeds slopes finding a contouring path up to the summit (2nd time bagged), from there walked along ridge to Mynydd Llangorse (2nd time bagged), up to the small pile of stones on summit, from there headed NE east and descended path (doesn't follow route shown on map) through Blaenau-Draw farm back to car. Afterwards drove to and bagged The Begwns. Perfect walking weather; sunny/windy and perfectly clear, could see for miles, saw about 20 people all day.DanTrig01/09/2019
From top of pass limited parking. Mynydd Troed and Mynydd Llangorse.ijpowell29/08/2019
After Troed. Also visited trig after the high point.NormanW22/07/2019
from col then to tpunderhill21/07/2019
From Cockpit Hill straight up to the trig on Mynydd Treod. Followed path south east along the ridge and down to Blaenau-draw. The bridle way overgrown I descended through the adjacent meadow. Followed paths up to the trig on Mynydd Llangorse, the bridle way shown not apparent. Easy walk along the ridge to bag the top by the wee tarns, then down through the fort to complete my circuit. It would be quicker to dash up and down to both summits, but the loop walk presented lovely varied views.Pete West20/06/2019
With Mynydd Troed and Waun Fach after sleeping in van at Cwmdu. Bright sunshine but snell breeze. Ponies. Rounsfell05/05/2019
On route of Black Dragon Challenge out of Crickhowell. Not as dramatic as neighbouring Mynydd Troed but a great hill none the less.richardrosser06/04/2019
Ascended from col at 160283 in darkness and lowering cloud - wet mist on summit ridge - no difficulties - looks a bit steep from the bottom but isn'twychwood20/02/2019
Traverse from Mynedd TroedDanMaisieBex29/12/2018
Parked at Cockpit Hill, followed bridleway round western flank until roughly above Gilfach then took a path up the hill to the trig point. Low cloud so views not great. Found actual summit then on the way back along the ridge had a brief glimpse of a sunset.clyoung27/12/2018
From high point of road between Mynydds Troed & Llangorse. Summit or thereabouts now has a rather phallic cairn. Took about 50 minutes. Good views.rogreeves23/10/2018
From road pass, after Troed.Topographer5713/08/2018
Evening walk from the col to the north with Meg and Xan. Mynydd Troed was alight and smoking away on the other side of the valley. Everything very dry and brown. I cooked pasta bolognaise at the cairn before the summit and we spent a very relaxing hour and a half up there. We slept at the foot of the hill, under the stars and a full moon, a first for the children. A beautiful evening with Pen-y-Fan remaining visible all night and small fires burning on the hill above. Unfortunately, it didn't end too well with both children up all night vomiting!Herbert Anchovy26/07/2018
Had to start running at this point as I realised I only had 3 hours left before the bus at Llyswen.Alex C23/06/2018
Just as good as Mynydd Troed, in the sun, the cold and the wind from Cockit Hill. Nice ridgelet to start and a good summit plateau. Grand views.Gill25/02/2018
From Mynydd Troed. Visited trig point too. A very muddy track skirts Mynydd Troed on the way back to Dragon's Back car park. Solo.Dangerous Dave21/01/2018

Exactly the same sentiment as Jenx. Its not half the brute of Myn.Troed..stig_nest07/07/2016
From the pass. A nice hill, but disappointing top.jenx19/02/2016
Up from small parking area at road col. Sure I've been up here back in PGL days. Simple ridge spoilt by trail bikes a bit. Wandered into top to find top. Cairn marks a high point slightly off the given GR about 10m off. Trig a short way off.nordicstar19/02/2016

Walked up Llangorse while the others were messing about on the lake. There is a path from Gilfach as shown on the map though it's easy to follow the wrong path and get lost in the bracken. 90 minutes total circuit.Mark Jackson28/10/2015

Started from the Castle Inn in Pengenffordd (£1 to park for the day) and ascended the north eastern corner of Mynydd Troed. Gradual descent down the its ridge and then picked up a ROW to take us down to the road in Cwm Sorgwm. Took the track past Blaenau-draw and then made our way around Mynydd Llangorse to make our way to the trig point from the south. Picked up the Beacons Way and followed it around Mynydd Troed to the A479 and back to the pub. With Keith. Did them again in August with Tiger Bay Ramblers.islamidget21/05/2014
