Staying at the OMC Cottage, I did Stob a' Choire Odhair (945m) & Stob Ghabhar (1090m) today with Dave Morgan. Two munros bringing my total to 198 out of 282 now. We started in darkness, around 07:45, when the car dashboard said it was -9C. We walked out in darkness with headtorches on, arriving back at the car for 17:50, a really big day. The inversion was awesomechillyman802/12/2023
A long 25 mile walk based around the two munros Stob a' Choire Odhair and Stob Ghabhar. I detoured to Beinn Toaig going up, visited Aonach Eagach on route and then had a walk around Sron nan Giubhas, Stob Ghabhar North Top, Aonach Mor, Creag a' Bhealaich, Sron a' Ghearrain and Stob a' Bhruaich Leith and then detoured to visit Meall an Araich on the way down, walking out via Clashgour Farm and down the valley. Every summit had completely different views and was worth visiting in it's own right, a very enjoyable day on the mountains. Notes: Took the main path from Stob a' Choire Odhair. Very scenic. /Dmeltdiceburg17/06/2023

Walked from Victoria Bridge up Stob a'Choire Odhair on a dry but grey day. Quite warm and windless. Ideal walking weather. Followed that up with an ascent of Stob Ghabhar and then back down via the waterfall. The route up Stob Ghabhar from Coirean Lochain side seemed too steep, loose and crumbling for a safe descent.honey badger17/09/2017

Continuation of walk from Stob a'Choire Odhair. Descended west to bealach at Pt. 668m, then steeply up near Couloir Buttress onto Aonach Eagach. The followed fine ridge round to summit. To descend, we retraced our steps for some 450m and down Stob Maol Ridge. Path very steep, eroded and dangerous over Creag an Steallaire near waterfalls. There must be a better and safer line further south. Then crossed Allt Toaig to rejoin our outward route. With JK.Man of Kernow104/10/2014

Done as a walk from Stob a'Choire Odhair. This makes a really good mountain ridge route. Pleasant and well defined to the bealach, a curving spur up to the ESE face of Stob Ghabhar, then a narrow ridge (it is called Aonach Eagach) up to the summit, all in top mountain scenery. On a beautiful sunny day with a few fluffy clouds, I decided to add an extra summit to the day- Stob a'Bhruaich Leith (qv). Today's walk would be a cracking introduction to the Munros for a confident mountain walker familiar with Snowdonia and the Lake District.pwheeler03/06/1989
