From Dodgson Wood (free) car park.jonglew06/08/2019
Would have been a bit easier from Nimby Nibthwaite but no sniff of any parking there and they probably want to keep it that way. Drove on to NT car park at Dodgson Wood then followed permissive path marked by white arrows towards derelict Parkamoor before cutting uphill across open pasture to the uncairned summit.Topographer5705/07/2019

From tiny car park up 'new' path to track then over green path to Wainwright top and over to true summit. Views of Coniston were excellent on a cold but very clear day.SS28/10/2018
An insanely busy Coniston water today. Seriously suprised by the volume of people and the embarrasingly poor parking in the actual carpark. Marilyn summit feels lower to me than the cairned proper top. Not sure i buy in to the pedantry of an odd meter. Youd not know if not for the gps. Still, keep putting your blind faith in science..stig_nest28/05/2018
Having driven all of the way from the north coast of Sutherland, parked at Dodgson Wood car park & up through the woods. Marilyn 1 of 2 today.assynt_bob11/04/2018

Third hill of the afternoon, from Dodgson Wood, following the signed path to Low Parkamoor. Lovely woods, then a path along a wall, and finally off piste on moderately rough ground to the top. Better going and nicer views on the way back by following the Coniston side of the plateau back to the path.Gill30/08/2017

Parked up at Dodgson wood car park and ascended for fine views of the old man. On the way down met a woman who must have been related to wainwright. 'I've never met any one else up here' she explained. After some small talk she burted 'Enjoy the rest of YOUR day' as if we had just ruined hers. Found a stone spindle worl in the woods.mindlessflogger20/09/2014
